  1. Hey stuntdouble! Just remember that this is a chronic disease. There is no getting rid of it. Just have to live with it! ;D
  2. Big-O, I think generally the colors on the LMB up here may be better, but I would give my left twin to fight some of the fish I've seen on this forum! ;D
  3. Nice job!! 8-)
  4. Ditto on the broken rod! Sorry Russ, that's just what came to mind. ;D
  5. Looks like she's got it going.
  6. We've had great weather up here the last few days. We slayed them on Saturday, another poster said that he and his family did very well, and now your post. Early last week it looked like it was gonna be good for everyone up here. Apparently it was. Nice job!
  7. Shaw24, what RW said. I spend alot of time going through the articles because that type of fishing is new to me. Study terminology and diagrams when there are any, then when you come back to the threads, it's alot easier to sit back and follow what everyone else is discussing. Goodluck!
  8. Paul Rogers, I agree with alot of what you are saying, but I still have a hard time with what I consider bending or skewing the morals of conservation. To me what some of the sierra club offers is a comparison of obeying all the fishing regs, and then willfully keeping one more than regs allow because I did such a good job of obeying the rest of the laws. Alot of these organizatons are for common goals. As long as the goals are on THEIR terms.
  9. That's cool. The most I ever have done was my favorite lake.
  10. There is an old adage that goes "divide and conquer". As many already know, most with an ardent agenda can make it work. Sometimes too good! Look what did to themselves in Mich. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/25708115/ They are in bed with THEIR enemy. Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.
  11. I assume that means that there is no prerequisit for membership? How far behind is PETA http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/connelly/353415_joel03.html http://www.counterpunch.org/frank05042004.html
  12. RLR, when you get the time could you do that in a pm? Thanks alot!
  13. Man, that's some major jack!
  14. Looks sweet! Question. I always wondered if the rework was akin to rebluing firearms, or if it is some kind of anodizing? Thanks. ff15
  15. How much on average does a rig (truck and boat) run for these guys. I'm guessing 100-150 G's

Happy Birthday! I hope that in your house a 16th B-day means another rod and reel.
  17. I assumed LBH was into videography, volunteering and product review full time, and then if time permits, helps out at UPS from time to time. Yeah, they are true blue guys in brown in that story, but when I go, I would rather be dumped in a lake somewhere. After cremation!
  18. Nice job on hammerin' the bass! Sounds like you had blast up there. You must have had fairly decent weather too. With the fronts coming through, did anyone hook up with the musky?
  19. I can say that if you go with revo, stay with the s,sx or stx. Great reels. I'm not sure of the reasons, but several users seem not to care for the premier. Maybe someone will chime in and either explain or tell you why I may be mistaken. Goodluck!
  20. My dad (RIP) for musky, mom is the panfishing king, and BR has been such a wealth of info on bass, there's no topping it!
  21. Alot of good music here! Steven Tyler, Frampton, Pant and Palmer, etc. How 'bout Nugent and Henley?
  22. gotta go with cereal. Applejacks
  23. I don't know what kind of history buff you may be, but the 2 in a series of three that are out by Edmund Morris on Theodore Roosevelt are awesome. Roosevelt is the sole person responsible for the national park system amungst many of his many accomplishments. Aside from politics, the man was a dynamo also responsible for the greatest naval fleet in the world. The rise and fall of Theodore Roosevelt an Theodore Rex. Evan if your not interested now, keep them in mind. Check em out.
