  3. OK, what do you do or what would you do in a pond that is no more than 6ft deep and very little grass tules (cattails) line the bank and very little cover. its been constant 95's and surface temps are 76-82. ive tried everthing from plastics deep in the cattails to nighttime topwater and nothing. o ya ive caught a 10.22lb monster outta here and yesterday just as the sun was about to go down let me tell you i spotted what is easily a 12-15LB'ER.

  5. Well its been hot lately and the water temps is about 70ish on the surface lake is only 6 ft at the deepest and structure is mostly tules (cat tails). went the other day before sun-up and not one bite not even a topwater boil. there is some grass that is starting to comeup also. 6. OK so i live in west texas weather has been consistantly in the mid to high 90's and now this weekend its gonna drop to mid to low 80's and cloudy. so im gonna head out with hopes that the now cooler water and cloud cover will activate the bass i think topwater will be the ticket. time to pull out my dean rojas bronzeyes
  7. In my opinion you cannot beat SHIMANO'S current line up. For spinning youve got the symetre's which are awsome and run around $70 and for BC youve got both the curado E's $150 AND THE Citica E's $100. you truly cannot beat these for the quality specs and price. O ya and customer service is the best in the business!!!
  8. This really will depend on what your using for instance if your throwing crankbaits you will not want to horse them as much as you would say flipping a brush hog with a 5/0 hook.

  16. Id have to go with MIKE IACONELLI, you just have to admire his utmost seriousness and intensity while on the water.
  17. WILL POST FULL REPORT LATER TODAY
  18. Even in the thick stuff i still stick with the med action and instead i go in and get them out. i seem to land more rather than horsing them out and either they break off or get off. as far as colors you only need 3 black/blue saphire, white, watermelon/red flake. also they trick is good because its natural bouancy it does stay up right but not forever it takes a few for it to begin to fall and i feel thats when it looks the most natural and when i seem to get the most hits. just my .02
  19. my favorite shakey setup is a 7' med action W/ 8lb flouro. picasso shakey head and a zoom trick worm dipped in JJ's Magic. and heres what i caught last month on it: she weighed in at 10.22
  20. Heres the pics:
  21. yup use a med sized bait holder hook and hook them right behind the eyes underneath that hard part on top of there head. make sure you give slack line and keep your finger on the line and wait for a killer hit
  22. I BELEIVE ITS JUST PREFERENCE. realism has nothing to do with it i mean come on look at some of the stuff we use doesnt even look like anything from this planet. once again its just a personal preferance id go with the yabbie looks good and is ready to go only one way you need to fish it drag it on the bottom with pauses and shakes and youll catch fish. JUST MY .02
  23. BE THERE SOON AND NEED TO FULFILL MY ADDICTION
  24. two baits: jerkbait or shakey head natural colors and dont let the bass see you
