when and where is it this year?

Looking to find a few "hard copy" lake maps. I have my navionics premium but i notice other maps use feet vs meters and show different points and drop offs. I like to get my maps from "Favorite Hot spots"- Americas best maps. But would like to find some others that might show me some new spots. Well chime in if you have any opinions. travis

i went through a pack of 10 on 10 fish! some were dinks and a couple of 2's. drop shotting them was awesome but they did not stay on the hook or hold together. any tips on making sure these awesome worms dont fly off during the fight? or another recommendation for a drop shot worm??? t

hey guys. need your help again. with the independence day sales now is a good time to pick up a rod for flipping. looking for a 7'6" rod in the sub 140 category. any recommendations would be great. looking at throwing braid on it with a flouro leader! well let me have some thoughts!

this is the second time this has happened. i have a 17ft monarch deep v. i fished a little this morning and had about 3/4's of a tank left. trailered it home and left it. came back a few hours later and see the gas is pouring out of the overfill exhaust? im not sure why. i was thinking expansion from the heat or a poor valve? any thoughts or past experiences would be awesome. travis

Hey guys need some input on a new rain jacket. im looking for one that is 100% waterproof and durable add in a lil comfort. I just tried the bps pro jackets and the neoprene cuffs were too dang tight. i would really like to have a jacket with some neoprene cuffs so the rain doesnt come in as i raise the arm. even the velcro cuffs allow some water in. well any ideas or suggestions throw them this way. and if it comes in a tall even better!!!!! thanks t

ive had a 798 si for a month or so and still have a difficult time with it. When it comes to the chart speed i have heard you should match it to your mph. When i do that i feel the scroll speed is not as fast as the boat is moving. why would you want to have a slower or faster chart speed. and why isnt it automatically adjustable to the boat speed? I also had a ton of trees down off othe shore that was off of a steep drop off and for somereason the si couldnt pick up any of them. any tips or answers would be awesome! t

Well fellas im pretty ticked. Finally bought a set of sunglasses that were sposed to be worthy of paying 230 bucks. bought a pair of costa del mars with the 580 p glass with permit frames at a hunting expo. Dropped the frames from thigh height while teaching and it landed on the lens. Spiderwebbed the whole frame! now they want 100 bucks to repair them. i was told these are impact resistant. GUESS NOT!. Biggest piece of junk ever. Couldnt believe that glass would splinter from a height of 24 inches.. DO NOT BUY. Cant wait to make this phone call tomorrow to tell them where to shove their glasses. impact resistant I disagree. now its gonna costa me!!! well see how their rep deals with this. to be continued ... Buy Costa Del Mars and they will COSTA YOU!

been using a top water lucky craft sammy 100. decided to change out the hooks for number 2 kvd tripple grips. has anyone tried this yet. and what hooks do you like to replace them with ? t

just got a st croix legend. checked the rod guides was flexing the main guide slighty and heard a crack. i can see a small crack on the epoxy. guide is still intact. now what? do i leave it or try to epoxy over it. personally dont think its a big concern. what experiences do you guys have? t

looking at getting a automatic inflating life vest. family member has some health concerns of passing out! so I want to make sure they are always safe. need some advice to comfort and chance of it getting rained on without inflating. thanks for any advice. t

Hey fellas. I need some tips on how to fish jigs. I feel like the only way i get bit with a jig is flipping docks! And there are so many better ways to catch fish. With this cold front in the north east and the prespawn on its way in i figured a jig would be the way to go but i just dont have any confidence in it. What are your favorite tips for jig fishing? T

just got a hummingbird 798ci. gonna use it on the big boat but i bought another transducer so i can take it on smaller lakes and ponds. but i need a portable housing or a way to mount it so doesnt slide everywhere. and its a plastic boat. haha from field n stream . dont hate. it rocks. thanks guys! pics of mounts or the way you guys place it on your seats would be great!

just got a new curado and compared it to my two year old one. noticed in my old one im getting a lot of play a 1/8th of an inch or so out of it. i know it has the anti reverse ball bearing and the super stop. but i can put a lot of back pressure on it and slam it backwards? is it wear and use? or something witch a bearing perhaps?
