  1. In mentioning Japan Tackle @DWS09, you can buy with confidence as Jun Sonoda has been in business for a very long time and has been very happy to answer any questions you may have. Buying from a reputable JDM tackle shop is a smooth process and you will most likely receive your package in about three days. Good luck and welcome back to bass fishing
  2. My point was it does happen whether it was successful or not. In the context of this conversation I guess Houston didn’t stockpile draft picks while tanking after switching leagues and their organizational rise was totally organic. But I could be wrong 🤷🏼‍♂️.
  3. Loosing by design has happened in the three major professional sports, NFL, NBA, and MLB for different reasons and results in my humble opinion. Just recent memory “Tanking for Tua” the NBA instituted a revised draft after “The Process” and in MLB tanking can result in a couple of World Series titles or good reason for relocation. Great discussion and good luck this weekend
  4. Nope, not at all @gimruis, but Cousins beat the Niners on pretty much every 3rd down and his offensive line kept upright throughout the game. The Niners can’t give up 450+ yards on defense and expect/deserve to win.
  5. @gimruis, Niners will roll with what we got and should be good. Bye week in a couple so I guess the team is trying to get everyone healthy, especially the hairline fracture to Debo’s shoulder.
  6. I heard Menderchuck was your own private lake, I guess this confirms it😂
  7. Trent will probably tell training staff to put some tape on it and he’s good to go.
  8. @Bird I agree. Mike McDaniel is an offensive mad scientist that uses his players speed to put the opposing defense into a match up disadvantage. I know it sounds simple, but he does it to great effect. Miami’s defense isn’t talked about enough. The Niners will be alright until CMC and Debo are fully healthy. Jennings, Ronnie Bell, Jordan Mason and Elijah Mitchell should expect to carry a bigger load offensively, the Niners defense has to pressure Cousins all day and force some turnovers. Those thoughts also in response @gimruis above thoughts on Monday’s game. As for Philly, it was nice to see them on the other side of things, as surprising as it was. From my small sample size, they don’t have much of a run game. Correct me if I’m wrong, but Hurts dropping back to pass 35+ or him running is a recipe for disaster over the course of a season. And yes, it’s nice to see Geoff and Detroit have some long overdue success.
  9. F-15’s outta North Carolina with the aircrews from both UT and Texas A&M. It’s always impressive to see an element flyover pregame anytime 👍
  10. Congratulations to Cleveland and their fans, the Browns earned the win on Sunday. My Niners will clean some things up look to get the win in Minnesota on Monday night.
  11. Mend-It, surprisingly I found out if you caught a fish on a bait it’ll still catch ‘em after they’ve been repaired. Truth be told, I’ve used some bait’s for the past two years until they’re unrepairable. Not to mention it hasn’t hurt my wallet at all in keeping the bait monkey at bay. YMMV
  12. Tight End U, and wasn’t it National Tight Ends Day?
  13. Thanks for the account of your trip DB and taking a bow for landing the peacock in that second picture was well deserved!
  14. I did enjoy last Sunday’s game vs Dallas and like most of us thought the game was going to be more competitive. Niners are off to play a shorthanded Browns team on the shore of Lake Erie. Niners, Eagles, Chiefs and Lions have separated themselves a bit in their divisions, Miami and the Bucs might do the same after this weekend. * both Detroit and the Niners ran the same razzle dazzle play with the same result, their tight ends scoring a touchdown.
  15. I was seeing the same crawdads on stocks of primrose when I was punching mats a decided to catch one so I could try an “match the hatch”. I later discovered this particular crawdad is a red swamp crawfish.
  16. Found em under the “heart” icon and I had six lists. I guess if it’s not broke you fix it ??
  17. Free flatware? I’d say get the S&H Green Stamps and a coupon book
  18. CMC would’ve had five but Purdy checked out of a run and called his own number on a sneak for a TD. Speaking of Purdy, 20 of 21 and a QB rating north of 130 ain’t to shabby for a day’s work.
  19. Sunday, October 8th at 1720 PST apparently is for “all the marbles”. It’s a long season and I’m definitely looking forward to my team playing Dallas, should be a good game.
  20. Catch em up DB, we’re looking forward to some good stories and great pictures of your epic adventure!
  21. One of these breaching where I’m fishing with a bass in its mouth
  22. I like the initial sound my Mercury ProXS makes at ignition and the low grumbling tone that follows. The gurgle of a buzzbait or plopper producing a bubble trail across the stillness of the water as I anticipate a blowup as it approaches a piece of cover. The sound of braid singing through the guides of my rod at hook set announcing the fight is on! The popping sounds coming from under a mat telling me bluegills are feeding. A bullfrog croaking in the distance bringing back memories of frog gigging trips long ago. The calls of redwing and yellow headed blackbirds back in the tullies, a pheasant crowing on a levee or the whistle of swan wings as they fly by. And currently the massive flocks of geese, Canadian, snow, specks lightning from a field or flying overhead as they migrate the Pacific Flyway….
  23. Soak em in vinegar for a bit
  24. If you have a motorized kayak- Under California state law Navigation Lights: All vessels are required to display navigation lights between sunset and sunrise and during times of restricted visibility. Safety Equipment - Division of Boating and Waterways - CA.gov
  25. It looks like we’re getting an early fall out west on the delta, mornings right at 60 degrees with a high in the low 90’s and low 70’s for water temps. With the state guys out there spraying the mats like they’ve got an unlimited supply of roundup I targeted the remaining sparse mats to punch. I found this stubborn 4.8lb liked seeing a beaver come through the mat.
