  1. I prefer to dip as I need it but regardless, the strongest, longest lasting scent I have used. Permeate your bait.
  2. I've read that Kistler will rewrap current rods with micros for a fee.
  3. Yup there is the prob. Had done one-way bearings like that for years when they first came out (middle 90's). Do not know what changed but all of a sudden the one-way packs didn't like the grease and when I switched over to a light oil swab things really got a lot better.. I blow my one-ways out with 60psi on my compressor, the only time I have ever had the pin bearings come out is if the pin bearing frame is damaged. You can see the pressure point that keeps the pin bearing in place, if it is damaged the pin will fall out no matter how you try to hold it during re-assembly... BTW none of this should be done on the dinning room table, you need a well lit work area with room to do it right... Good Luck & Tight Lines!!! the plot thickens. the needles ALL fell out durring the soak. thats why i used grease to hold the bearing together. looks like a call to Daiwa is in order. I did that a few days ago by mistake, I dropped a few pins and knocked the rest out trying to put them back. It's not impossible to fix, just very frustrating and tedious. Good Luck
  4. Is there a way to change knobs that have the brass rivet instead of the screw?
  5. I didn't read the original post, I thought it was just for suggestions. Mine is a 7'11''MH Dobyns Mike Long Swimbait Rod, Revo Toro 50-HS, 20lb CXX.

  7. If you can't afford an expensive pair, I really like the Strike King Ice glasses. I also have a pair of Wiley X P17's and really like them but I haven't had them long.
  8. That is false. I know, I dealt with it. Most of that problem had to do with shelf saying it on sale, and the employee that was suppose take the sign down didn't. At my store, if the sales ad was for the current week, the item showed up on computer every time. Most people either don't read the ad, or an employees made a mistake on putting the shelf tag on wrong item. It was either customer couldn't read, or employees made a mistake on what is on sale and what is not. Or the sale expired while the sign was still on the item. Heck, one guy actually gave me a news ad for half of crap he had, and was wondering why he didn't get the sales price for it, and the news ad was expired by two weeks. That wasn't a computer error. There was a rare time where the sales ad was current week and an item was not ringing up on sale, however, I had that information on hand that it was suppose be on sale, there was a mistake in computer somewhere, and when I did the price change it worked without manager approval. Number one reason why stores perform poorly is communication, the second reason is lack of work ethic. I was 17 and 18 years old dealing with customers over the price. Hell, one guy asked me if he could have TV 500.00 off since it was last one we had. I told him, "no, I'm trying make a profit here." He did reported me to manager for saying that to him, but come on, man, this is retail not a car dealership. I was reported to manager 4 times, only written up once and that had to do with me coming up short on cash register I signed off on. Whoops. Oh well, life goes on. I'm just speaking from the store that I'm familiar with, which is basically a step or two above a consignment shop. I honestly don't know why it's still open. They are constantly understaffed, with the exception of electronics, which is where my brother worked, they would have 2 people in electronics and 3-4 for the rest of the store, usually only 1 cashier. I would venture to say that, at least from the local store, it's lack of work ethic. I just thought it was odd that they told him to only use the sale price if the customer brought it up.
  9. From what I've seen in the past year or so, the red ones are sometimes cheaper or on clearance. I picked up a couple packs of BPS "pear head" spiral lock jig heads with red hooks the other day for $1.77 each when the regular hook models were about $3 a pack. same thing here....I bought some owner stingers the other day and they only had nickel in one size that I needed and red in the other for $1.25 less
  10. That's exactly what I was looking at! Hahaha but basically the same setup as you, and for throwing Mattlures Hard Gills, etc. What kind of line do you use? should be a good setup....for line I use 20lb CXX
  11. As a matter of fact, I would. I'm pretty sure there is a law where the lawyer can request the D.A. to hand over every single evidence they have on the defendant. Therefore, if they have no actual proof (that video wasn't clear enough) that I put clearance stickers on the merchandise, they cannot prove that I deceived them....I'm sure they got better video than what was posted, but I would make sure the evidence they have is not clear enough before making that argument. I'm sure they got at least one clear video, otherwise, how in hell can they accuse him of it? If it just one video I'm sure the charges and sentence would be reduced. I'm not saying K-mart is better than Wal-Mart, but it clearly the clearance system is. The managers at K-mart do not put clearance price into the computers, nor do they create a new UPC for it. (least my store they didn't), therefore, this required a management check the merchandise with his/her price computer, it did create time lags, but on other hand no one scammed us with clearance tags. I guess to K-mart's managements thought that was better than caring about whether customer thinks they spend way too much time in check out line. Major different between K-mart and Wal-Mart is the layaway. K-mart uses Layaway, Wal-Mart use credit card. Layaway for those that cannot afford the credit charges. Sears holding does offer credit card, but no one seems to be interested in them. K-Mart also doesn't tell you that they don't put the items on sale in the computer so every little thing that is on sale, you have to tell them that it is and tell them the price, only then do you get a managers aproval. If you don't catch it, you pay full price. My brother worked at K-Mart for a bit and they don't know what's onsale and aren't supposed to ask/tell if something is on sale, the customer has to notify them. It's as bad as Bass Pro and their internet prices. >
  12. woke up to 8 inches on saturday but slacked off from there
  13. I got 1,2,6,8,9, 13, 15, 18, 20, 21, 24, 27, 28, 30, 36, 37, 42, 44
  14. He moved from OK to TX a year or so ago and never changed his location on his profile. Gotcha
  15. Really enjoy their performances.
  16. I always thought it funny that he stated his town was in OK but didn't have a PO so he shipped everything out of TX and alot of people that bought from him complained about the long shipping times, there were quiet a few over the Sexy Shad kits.
  17. The only problem I have found is that the anaconda can catch a fair amount of wind when casted weightless, hindering the cast somewhat. The Curado is more than fine, although I have never fished weightless with mine, I'm sure it's more than capable.
  18. If it's the one based off of the Code then it is a decent reel, not great but not total garbage either. I have a code and it has served me well. If it's the new PT reel, should be a killer reel.
  19. TELL ME A SHIMANO CI4 WOULDN'T BE FREAKIN SICK ON THE DARK ANGEL SPINNING ROD you better believe it ;D
  20. I have the 7'MH BDS version of the Lucky Craft rod. I love this rod and would recommend it to anyone. The 7'MH is great for baits up to 18-20 feet, I feel that it's best for baits around 12'. The Mini Magic is probably great for shallow to mid cranks, I was actually thinking about getting one for to replace my Carrot Stix Gold. I personally believe the Lucky Craft Rods are highly worth the money.
  21. Fuego takes up 28" PT, Curado 30''.....2'' per crank difference. Both are good reels, the Fuego is a steal at the price.
  22. I have a 7'M Spinning and a 7'MH Casting and I love them, I haven't had much experience with the casting rod, purchased just a few weeks ago but I have fished with the spinning rod alot. I would suggest if you need a spinning rod, get one, it is a great rod. I would buy atleast one, if you can swing it, buy more. I don't know about the CB rod, no expereince, tackle tour reviewed it though... how much is shipping from Korea :
