  1. I have to admit that I have only seen it a few times and it's good but saw the original when I was in London a few years back and liked it alot better
  2. Should be included in your final price through eBay. Bought a Diawa Alpha 103 a little while back without anything extra on price and shipping.
  3. Guinness, Dos Equis, Bud Select, Bud Light, Horse Pee, and though not a beer, Strongbow is pretty good.
  4. Iaconelli fishes chatterbaits more than anyone I have ever seen.
  5. I had one and loved it until my dad got hold of it when I moved. Once he gets hold of a reel you might as well consider it gone. He's rough on gear and larger spinning reels, mine was a 6740, get 25lb line and are promptly taken cat fishing. No matter how good a reel is, months of tobacco spit and chicken liver will gum up a reel no matter what kind it is. I've since moved on to other reels but would not hesitate to buy another if I needed one. Never had a problem with it in the 2 years I used it. The last time I used it, it was as smooth as the day I got it. Never had a problem with the frame, no grinding gears, the thing was so smooth yo didn't even need to reel it, it would reel itself.
  6. aside from a personal inspection, trust comes into play. Do you trust who you are buying from, personally I have bought some used reels from eBay for considerable discounts, it's tricky but you can get good deals. I have purchased 5 used reels from a certain seller that I have a tendency to trust, they are up front that the reels have been purchased through an unnamed company, Gander Mountain, as returns for one reason or another and do their best to describe problems, if any. For the most part the reels are pretty close to new with damaged boxes.
  7. Personally I hate having to retie every time I want to switch baits. You don't have to have technique specific set-ups but I think it helps having a T-rig, crankbait, jig, spinnerbait, and a spinning rod, usually a shaky head, rigged up for use when needed without the hassle of cutting off and retying everytime. In short, no, it's not a waste. What is a waste is having a perfectly good reel closed up in a box for 9 months.
  8. Great...I was wondering when the new season was gonna start
  9. Have heard the foam indents easily on both series but haven't really heard anything too bad, I too am interested in how it "came apart". To me the vengeance looks like a heck of a deal and I would definitely like to try one out
  10. I like my Curado E5 for deep cranks and my Sol for shallow cranks, mostly because they match the rods they are on quiet well ;D I've cranked with a high speed before and it feels a little too stressfull on myself and my gear, but I guess it's all in getting used to it. The slower reels don't bother me so I find no real need to change
  11. having it signed would definitely give a little validation and back story....don't think it would hurt either
  12. ehh....I love In Flames but that, not so much, now Acoustic Medley is great
  13. I read for about a year or so before I joined. Then I was layed up with back problems last year so that is the time frame when i started posting more
  14. Takin a crack at a bg thick chunky mama
  15. This year was the year of the crank for me
  16. The reels are Inshore Extremes and the rods are beasts
  17. I think it's around Springfield. :
  18. Man, with some of the pictures and trips you've posted, that may be the only answer. I use heet when the ice starts
  19. I regularly fish SK Series 5 and 6 and Fat Free Shads with my E5 with no problems at all, stands up well with DD22's as well.
  20. I would pay half that and get a BPS Crankin Stick
