  1. My Z12 Comanche. Like Glenn, I did my Comanche in the colors of my site ;D
  2. That boat (assuming it's a 12) will bring $3-400. Personally, the mods would be a negative for me. There's ALOT of weight added there. I would strip it down and re-mod it simpler but would pay 3-400 for the hull, it appears to be in A-1 shape. (PS- VERY nice job on the mods, very clean work, it's just a "weight thing" for me, as I launch roadside, no ramp)
  3. So the 4.5 is the new PB, correct? Have fun at Fork, say "HI" to Bighead for us!
  4. to fill you guys in, the Scituate Res is highly protected, to the point where the national gaurd has given the water supply board 4 sets of night vision goggles to hunt down the poachers with. It came up on another forum where a kid posted a pic of a 5-6lbr and stated it was from the reservoir. Yes,...I all but bit his head off,...turned into a 9 pager so far on the local board. But the question came up of "How come the Scituate is protected but others aren't?' So it made me wonder what the criteria were for whether or not it is a fishable res or not. Seems the "privately owned" explanation makes the most sense so far.
  5. yup, that's your best bet, read the terrain. Roads that end at the waters edge, usually continue under the water. Same for rock walls, etc.
  6. Welcome Aboard brush hog!!
  7. Welcome Aboard Scooter!!
  8. There are a handful of things that can make this happen, all are natural and all are harmless. It's like if you have a tan. It's not how you usually look but it is normal for someone who has been in the sun. It's just a by-product of what you've been up to. Same with the red lips. and Welcome Aboard!!
  9. Agreed, only to be "one upped" by "Blood in stool"
  10. Although WRB gave a very well worded and dead on answer, it is not limited to spawn. Fish will "gather in groups" at these "staging" areas to school up for whatever reason, be it spawn, fall feed, migration to oxygenated water (turn over), migration to warmer coves at ice out (in which case, they will "stage" just outside those coves on the closest break to deeper water),etc
  11. All you can do is worry about yourself. Conduct yourself, courteously and ethically and if others don't comply, that's their issue. No fishing spot is worth a confrontation.
  12. Do you write code?
  13. In places like Mass., there are reservoirs like Wachussett and Quabbin where you are allowed to fish. In RI, our main reservoir, the Scituate, is strictly off limits to any kind of trespassing, let alone, fishing Does anyone know where to find the federal or state criteria for reservoirs? What the needs and requirements are to determine which ones are zero tolerance and which ones have stipulations? Thanks
  14. Welcome aboard Will. Why are you moving? You're already in the biggest little state in the union!?!? lol Good luck with your move
  15. I know I personally would never buy a product he promotes.

  19. Not a thread about "closed seasons" guys, please keep it on topic. Thanks I just returned from the lake not less than 10 minutes ago. Ice is out. Kinda. The main lake is free but where we need to be for the big bite is still blocked. East or northeast SHALLOW, DARK BOTTOMED coves. swim something, anything, jig, fluke, spinnerbait, shallow crank. Sit tight, fish will be moving in packs, frequenting this warm water during the peak sun hours of the day. Pick your coves, get in there and settle down.
  20. YEA BOY!!! Awesome achievement,...you're definitely on a good path!! Granpa would be very proud, I'm sure Keep up the GREAT work!
  21. So how'd that work for ya? : I was thinking along the lines of something constructive like, learning how to pour plastics or learning "excel" so you could build yourself a nice fishing log for the upcoming season.
  22. Many lakes and ponds on the Cape are open. Members of a local forum have been getting on good fish all week. Shallow, dark water is the key this time of yr.
  23. Awesome, Thanks for your support!!!
