It's not stamped concrete is it? Pic?
  2. Wow, what a trip. I hadn't seen RW's post earlier, thought I was reading mine, quoted. That's eerie. Great Palates think alike
  3. Fluke, I've been stuck on a salad you might like Greens (I like mescaline greens) raisins (not a lot) pears and/or apples cucumber Croutons Crumbled feta Walnuts and/or sunflower seeds Balsamic and honey, nuked for just a second and drizzled on top One of the girls that lives downstairs has a mini collection of balsamics, I never realized the many subtle differences before.
  4. Stick 'em or Hit 'er with the pig stick or Sink the steel A saltwater term which kind of applies seeing as how there is no hookset with a 130lb class set up--"Put the boots to 'em" or "Push the pin" Both terms for adding drag
  5. The cat decided to sit still for a while and I got an idea. The pics are nothing great but the concept was fun. Check it out---->Catbin Fever
  6. Buddy of mine owns a shop here, he does a lot for CAST. He spooled me up last yr with the backcountry blue to try out. I was very impressed. Not a ton of memory for a monofilament and VERY soft. Held up well and certainly a lot of bang for your buck. This product gets the Low Budget Thumbs up!!
  7. You laugh......
  8. I have the same issues but on the other end of the scale, same frustration though, I hear you Bizz
  9. I can't figure out how to play the thing
  10. I'll always love the Beamer wagons. My mom has the 523?....I never thought I could see myself in a wagon but these get it done in style and drive great. (of course, my brother has it looking right with AC Schnitzer wheels, new Pirelli Euforia run flat shoes and a few subtle add ons) I also love what Heico brings to the Volvo line. Their stuff ads just enough flare w/o being overboard. A very Euro look and made right here in RI. So,...Bmw and Audi see a need for a 10 cyl wagon???? Crazy.
  11. I love cheeses but we have very different tastes. You like those super strong ones, my favorites are the ones usually served with or in a food as opposed to eaten solo. Stuff like Feta Goat cheddars Mozzerellas Gorgonzola's (Love it on filet mignon) Americans Provolones Not a big fan of the Havarti's and other heavy flavored ones. I also hate it when they add to them like pepperjack
  12. Made by Victorinox, right Sam? Quality stuff.
  13. Oops, my mistake, they still make the navigator.
  14. I've never seen so many different kinds of Tequila in one place, lol. I especially liked the story behind each bottle and where they came from. Very cool bar. The "Storm" line of watches was very unique when they first came out. One of them (Navigator?) even had a butane lighter (for cigars) built in to it. It seems the camera one, like my old one is the only "unique" one in their line up anymore. They had some really cool ones, and not too pricey, they avg around $200 Seeing the old camera one again makes me realize I need to get around to replacing it one of these days. I LOVED that watch, one of the few physical things I have that I got attached to. I've never seen anyone with another one, I guess I always figured mine would show up on the wrist of someone I know, being so original, but never did.
  15. nly t/m's that smoke up, but no fire. I have seen 2 cars cook from car audio installs though. No circuit breaker at the battery (No, not ,my cars, lol)
  16. The BaitMonkey wants to buy ME something???? That's gotta be a first, I'm honored
  17. That's mean. This one below is my favorite ever. It got a lot of interest. It was stolen about a yr ago and I didn't even know it was still made till I just searched it. Check out how it opens like a camera link
  18. Feel better Catt, hope Mama Bear is fine
  19. Good stuff. Needed a little cleaning but good stuff.
  20. Hopefully, that false confidence goes away quickly. It's easy to think nothing can happen when the shore is only 50 ft away in a 10 ft deep lake. Death can happen, and in many different ways. You can NEVER be too prepared. Dude,....I gotta meet you 8-)
  21. ;D That memory will never get old,lol You should have your own show,..."Fishing with Brooklyn" ;D ;D 8-)
  22. Forgot to add the obvious. Been hooked 4 times (deep enough to be an issue, in reality, been hooked many more times than that,.....we ALL had to learn crankbaits at some point, lol) but only 1 time required a trip off the water to the hospital. The hooks from a 1 oz rattle trap, yup, 1 oz, were embedded in the top of my head. The newly replaced Gammy hit bone and dug in, could not be removed on board. (made for a kick azz xray though, lol) I bet Fluke has seen many of these xray at work, lol
