  1. So there are no minimum sales requirements or buy ins? Just promote the product and each time you have someone else who wants a product, we place the order through you (or the director)? Pretty much a referral for a commission?
  2. .....and we dab the tips with white to make him a happy tree,...a peaceful tree, a tree the wind likes to visit....... ;D Matt- Copycat!! Funny story, keep in mind I am young looking and short......I was delivering a package a few years ago and the lady yells to her husband,....in a voice BLOWN AWAY.... "Honey, you gotta see this,...he even has the TRUCK!",..then she thought about it a second and felt like a real idiot. ;D Unbelievable.... :
  3. ;D ;D ;D ...................I knew this had potential........... ;D ;D ;D
  4. Ryan, Sam is telling it the way it is, no polish. This is how this section of the forum works, do not be offended. This section is here, in part, for you to post a resume and get input from the members. Sometimes the input isn't what was expected. It's a "tough love" type of thing.
  5. Jim, Please define your pro staff program. We have had issues with these types of offers on the board before. Please explain the parameters of your program before we go any further. Requirements, expectations, time frames, etc. THanks
  6. Muddy's bouncies have been captured and are being held in a super bubble, suspended in space. I'm assuming there will be a ransom note coming along shortly.....
  7. Stringer- Welcome Aboard!! Do I know you? Did I just find another person to apply the title of this thread to??
  8. INDEED!! I like white flukes,..you can watch it as it comes back to the boat,...when you don't see it all of a sudden,....SET THE HOOK!!!
  9. It ain't just about setting a hook, countless best friends have been made on the water. I consider Dirk a member of my family. This was our 15th season fishing together. I look forward to someday laying down a claim like Catt's, that's what it's all about right there.
  10. Redline is a REAL man,...loyal to the one at home, I would bet all the money I have on it. I spoke to them while they were at the airport, all checked in and just waiting to leave. I'm pretty sure he could SMELL the jealousy though the phone line, lol.
  11. Entirely TOO much according to those around me,lol....heck, there are much worse things we could be doing, right?? Too much is never enough in my book.
  12. Well, my main partner, Dirk, is the guy that took the time to explain how my saltwater knowledge transfers to fresh. He is a pattern technician and for a few years, I just soaked up everything he did and said. Nowadays, I fish with a wide range of people. Some better than me, some not. I always find that fishing with different people does nothing but expand my horizons,...it's not about how many I have and how many he/she has, it's about how many the boat has. Competition adds something to ordinary fishing, brings it to a different level. Completely removing competition also does the same. The way my boat is set up, my guest has the front. Putting people on fish is just as fun nd sometimes more rewarding than catching them myself. Especially if we are catching in a way that is new to them.
  13. You're gonna scare the crap out of a looooot of people ;D GMAN- AWESOME!!
  14. Awesome report stranger!! Those are some sweet smallies you've been on!!
  15. My Rapala pliers. They have saved more fish than I can count. The drift sock saved the day more than once also.
  16. and Slooooow it down. Everything slows to a crawl as temps drop, especially metabolism. Slow down your retrieves. where are you located (state) this will help others give you sound advice. Welcome Aboard guys!!
  17. Oh man. College Ouija Board. My dorm was the original building on the campus. It has spires at all 4 corners and a peak in the middle. The top floor has been locked for yrs, no explanation. we were plating with the ouija board one night and we were getting a name and a story. "Pete" was a lacrosse player, wanted us to find his g/f Pam. This blew us away. we looked in old yearbooks for a lacrosse player named Pete. Sure enough, there he was in a book from the 60's. Totally drawn in now, we went back the next night and made contact again. He told us to go down to the gym. (same building, 1st floor, we were on the 4th floor.) The gym is locked with a barred gate, no door. Pitch black in there. ......... So we are standing at the doorway, looking into a dark gym and saying "why are we here, this is stupid, lets go".....and then the basketball started bouncing in there.....we SCREWED back upstairs. A little freaked, we decided to get rid of the board. About a week later, my friend kevin came to the room with a mimeographed news clip. It was about the lacrosse player named peter who had hung himself up on that 5th floor. He hung himself over girl problems supposedly. Never again. I won't even LOOK at a Oiuja board. Note- I have recently "found" Kevin. He lives in Kuai, Ha now. I am going to forward him this link and FREAK HIM OUT!!
  18. Shoot,...I don't even have 5 nets!

  21. I think hot, slippery and loud scare me a lot more. I mean, Do you need a floor to last 500 yrs, 30 isn't enough?? Weight- OK, I agree, it's lighter. The ends don't justify the means on this one for me.
  22. My saltwater boats are named RUSTY HOOKS (double entendre, my 1st name is Russ) and FISHOUS Fishous (21' Steiger craft) has since been sold to my old first mate, the name remains. In case you guys don't know the folklore, it's bad luck to rename a boat
  23. That's the great thing about this club, we don't "measure" ailments. Whatever you have or are going through we are here to support you and give you a place to vent where there are no repercussions, just people who are willing to listen.
