  1. Alan-Go back to the thread you started on fishing the muddy, stained water, we'll get you straightened out
  2. BUSTED ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
  3. You're looking in the wrong places. Get away from the bank. Bankbeating and throwing at "sexy" looking cover is not gonna get it done with water temps where they are here in RI. You need to go deep. Find weedlines that break near rock. The fish are still using the rock in the peak sun time zones but only to chase an unsuspecting bluegill that is using the tock for it's radiant heat. A few weeks ago,...not so much, the bass were all over them but now, they have pulled back off and are hunkered down in the deep grasses that are still alive. These grasses will be dying soon, letting off a lot of CO2. Take advantage now!!
  4. I'm confused. I AM from RI, but I fish very clear water. Your PM to me was asking about fishing muddy, stained, dirty water. I'm not making the connection here. Do you need help fishing RI or do you need help with dirty, stained, muddy water?? Now,......What's up with the quote under your avatar???? RI holds some fantastic fishing. We represent our northern part of the country nicely,........I thought, lol.
  5. The fish does not need to be killed, just documented properly via the IGFA guidelines.
  6. There are lots and lots of spinning rods out there that can throw up to 20, 30, 40 lb line. Just gotta look little harder.
  7. PM Fletchero, he has a place that sells colored blanks.
  8. Get in line BB Up here we have a fish that often freaks folks out, a few actually. 1 is called a monkfish and the other is a sea robin. The sea robin has a shelled head like the Pleco's but add 6 legs to that!! Monkfish Sea Robin
  9. I'd rather loose a cheap chug bug then handle one of those! Normally I would agree but I bet GW has dealt with these guys before. Also, at that size, with more than 1 guy, he is more than manageable.
  10. wacky rigged trick stick? Tried that?
  11. I use the diehards. 200 min res $80 Car batts drain very quickly and don't like to be drained and recharged. Each time you use it, you are dramatically reducing it's life, unlike a deep cycle, each time you drain it and charge it, there is minimal battery damage
  12. baby gator eat it or is this a Boga Grip ad?? ;D (seriously, I bet they would love to use that pic)
  13. C'mon Fletch, put an IMX in a "U" and you'll be testing that warranty! lol
  14. Broke- Is that the place near the bait shop (coyote something), where you pay to fish it?
  15. Wonder if they'll roast him... ;D
  16. You've been married tooooo long. ;D (Matt-Call me, I need to enlighten you,lmao)
  17. Can you explain?? Bending in a "U" would describe an ultra soft action. (way ultra)
  18. I've been called a lot of things,....but never "Lake Lice" lol Geez The real kicker would be if that truck had 4 wheel drive ;D (oh,...THAT'S what the other shifter is.....)
  19. Zona isn't 75 yrs old?? Zona just started his fishing show and Jerry just ended his? I give up, what is the difference... Trick question Mr Fly? lol
  20. Forget it,....The leaders over there just called George Doublya after reading the post. All is good, oil is free. They apologized for the inconvenience over the last few years. ;D ;D
  21. And they are anti-microbial. I bet the price will come down once they become more mainstream.
  22. well, that's just it. they aren't screen printed, it is an electro-static process and converting the files runs roughly $50 ea. They are guaranteed to never wear off or crack like typical screen printing.
