Any of you guys use Rogaine?
I have a friend who was on lithium for depression that made her hair start to fall out in front. The Dr. prescribed rogaine for her, she gave it about a month, it wasn't working. Switching off the lithium was her solution.

Music
Trust me, If I ever added a system to my boat, it would effect the fishing. Dropping the thermos on the floor has nowhere near the same impact as a 12" sub firing a 20khz test tone. 8-) We could make waves I bet. Mythbusters?? Besides, both of us can sing like coyotes,...who needs music? ;D If I had a bigger boat, I would have a system like Hawg_Hunters for the downtime but not for fishing.

My Pet Peeve: Breaking Your Line
That's truly Amazing. I had to learn through mistakes. I've lost fish on bad knots, not re-tying, too much drag too close to the boat, poor line choice, not testing old,UV damaged line, etc.,etc.,etc. You surpassed some amazing odds on this one!! I highly suggest we sticky this up next to "power and action". Boss?

My Pet Peeve: Breaking Your Line
Mornin' Kent! Great post as usual. I think we've all been guilty of bad knot syndrome somewhere along the line. It's mistakes like those that drive us to be better, more efficient, odds increasing, anglers. Choice of knot tying wetting synching tag line length checking for frayying retying routinely These are all things that are learned throughout the journey. Make sure to bring one of those big bass an apple, she was probably someones teacher at one time or another!

Biggest Fish on Gimmick Lure
I don't see the banjo as a gimmick. That thing catches fish. The set backs that make it "gimmicky" are the fact that you can only buy the hooks and plastic from one place, and it was introduced to us via an info-mercial. But that thing catches fish, I don't care who you are. Oh yea,..the hooks that come with it suck, way too light and weak.

Boat Mod - I made a 'How To'
That's nice. I missed the first tutorial on how to build a bass boat that needs latches. ;D If I used that bit anywhere in my boat, I'd better have a plug ready!

Securing old seats to bracket/swivel
KU- I did exactly as Hale suggested and had my first yr of not having to break out the big phillps head every 3 trips. If you go with the "do this once and forget about it" solution of Flukes, go a hair short with the bolt so it stays flush. A drop of loc-tite and you'll never touch them again. Be careful prying that bottom pad out, if you break a clip, you're buying a seat. Good luck!

Boat control effect on fishing
Eventually, the boat will become like another part of your body. Boat position and handling, when done right, can be very satisfying,...all part of the magic equation that made it all click.

New job= Mo' fishin!!
Well, I don't know, lol. My last position left me with lots of computer work that I was able to do at home. I was on ALOT this year. The other 1/2 of the job had me doing some of the most messed up, frustrating, routes. This particular center is a logistical mess and the current powers to be, have their head you know where. Also, even on the days I got to work from home, I had to be back at the facility in the evening for "turn in" so I couldn't take off fishing when I was done in the afternoon. When I would do a route, I couldn't just crush it and get in. The center is such a mess, there is ALWAYS someone who would need help. No fishing. In the old days, I could crush a route, get in and get to the lake. Now,...11:00 comes and I'm GONE! Priorities, lol.

New job= Mo' fishin!!
No Scott, I have been actually throwing around the idea of a complete career change. I'm often told that I am way too creative and have too much passion to be delivering boxes. The problem is,...anyhting I look at going into pays about 1/2. Just too much of a cut. I have a few personal things in the works to try and get me on a different path eventually but this job just got alot better so I guess I'll be riding it out for at least another year and we'll see what this new position is like.

New job= Mo' fishin!!
ALMOST,....but I'm not complaining!!! This also helps me out with CAST for Kids stuff because now when I have an event to travel to, I will be out by noon on that friday, making flights and reservations much easier to deal with.

New job= Mo' fishin!!
We just had our yearly bid at UPS. Seems there were a few new jobs added to the list that many folks didn't notice when filling out their bid slips. I GOT ONE OF THEM!! I will now be working from 4am to 8am working with the kids loading the package cars. Then I go change into uniform and deliver "early AM's" (our highest priority srvice)(Like a next day air that has to be there much earlier than normal commit times). I do this till 11am and then I have my 1 hr and 20 mins worth of breaks and then I go...... FISHING!!!!! My partner Eric also just had his sales territory changed. Now he does the area our lake is in so I will be grabbing the boat and meeting him up at the lake around 2pm,...EVERY DAY!!!!!!!!!! I'm so pumped to be off the road and back inside. The hours are PERFECT!! I'm very excited.

Jet Boats
The anglers frustration is aimed more at jet skiers than jet boaters. A boat, of any type, is generally less likely to come in and disturb the area you are fishing than a jet skier because many ski operators don't view their vessel as a true boat and think it's ok to be anywhere, anytime, often,...at any speed. I own a jet boat too, but not like yours. Some pics of mine are in THIS post.
