  1. Most fungal growths are triggered from a ph change in aquariums, wonder if it applies in the wild. In aquariums, it goes for the fins and eyes first.
  2. Then you didn't really watch. ;D True-not a big fan of the coma box we all call the TV
  3. I don't remember .25 ea but I DO remember 3/$1 8-)
  4. This only registers the business, does nothing to protect the name other than time stamp when you came up with it. It is "taken" in Tx, meaning no one can sign up using it because someone already did, but that really doesn't mean it's "protected". It is not protected till the copy right is submitted. It is protected from the submission date on, provided it eventually gets approved. As an example. Your biz name is "shakey heads" you sell Vibration equipment for construction, tamperers etc. (in Tx) I own a tackle shop called Bills tackle and I make my own jigs that I call shakeyheads. You have no say in that unless the term "shakeyhead" has a copy right. You have merely registered your business with the name but it is not protected. The only way it is protected is that no one else in Tx can name their BUSINESS "shakeyheads" (but they CAN name their products as such) It's not cheap. To properly copyright a name only, no logo, is appx $3k when all said and done.
  5. I'm sure Burley could handle 7, he'd be a regular at Haven Bros. as for the Sopranos, I never saw a johnny cake mention....

Win so the sacrifice was worth it, ok? Simple-...we may need to hook up,...I'm a morning/night guy myself. My body clock has me wanting to sleep during the dat (3rd shift worker)
  9. cool, thanks. as for the dog tags, it's quick and easy, paypal link is right on the front page.
  10. Yup, similar, but these are the 2 differences. these are done in a skillet or large frying pan (375) and the base is stone ground corn meal....VERY gritty (in a good way) Ever have a corn muffin? Like from Dunkin Donuts? that kind of grit. Nothing better than the crispy butter soaked edges,...yum. Now I want Johnny cakes, I have a 2 lb bag in the fridge. Another side note,...the product does not expire. Refrigerate it and it will live longer than you.
  11. I had an idea last year. I was thinking about all the kids who's male role model is now missing because of active duty. I was thinking we could set aside a day or make a list of people willing to take a kid out for the day fishing (with an accompanying adult) Just keeping the role model there and letting him see how America and his direct community are supportive of what their dad is doing. My loss is contacts. I wouldn't know who to contact to find kids.
  12. Well? Coffee milk is the bomb. (but don't make it too strong, gets nasty) So have you ever had Johnny cakes???? This might be different stuff, it is manufactured in a mill in Kenyon, RI, an area called Usquapaugh. It is a stone ground corn meal. They make only 2 products, the clam cake mix above and the johnny cake mix below. Johnny cakes look like potato pancakes but they get a butter and maple syrup treatment just like a regular pancake. The big debate (and you better ask if you order them in a RI diner) is Thick or thin? Thin to win.
  13. Great info but I fish for Bass in Lakes, not tanks. I know I would behave differently if I were in a cell, I don't see why another wild animal would be different. Any data acquired would be useless, even misleading, for me, as I don't target domesticated fish. ex: My Oscar will eat a piece of broccoli out of my hand, I wouldn't expect that to happen if I go to the Nile or Amazon where they are found naturally.
  14. Burley, serious question, Have you ever had Johnny Cakes? It's the other product made by Kenyon Corn meal. That picture on the front of the box is the actual mill it is ground in. It is a daily UPS pick up so I know the folks over there. The cool thing about this stuff is it's ground on the original stone from when they built the mill, it's about 10 ft wide and 4 ft thick and is water powered from the lake/river and a water wheel. My mom and I meet every Sunday for Johnny cakes, it's our thing. I like em thin and crispy. If you look closely, you can see Tin's great, great, great gran pappy wettin' a line.
  15. Good for you Carl, congrats!! However, I think you should hold off and build the house first, make the lake medium sized instead of small and combine the wedding with the 5th or 6th annual road trip, lol. That'd be a "reel" shin-dig ;D
  16. You may want to consider getting her on the tour......
  17. Correction, as Tin would put it, I'm a MFSBTLBH!! as for the video, you know me, film everything, sort it out later
  18. Do you know quickly BRAKE LIGHTS can wake up a chick applying mascara?
