Saw Elite Series Pro Using Old Bantam Curado To Win
I know Shimano sponsors atleast one guy on the SWBA (salt water bass Assoc.)This kid makes his rounds everytime shimano puts on seminars at local tackle shops. He is a great fisherman and a heck of a spokesman.I think Shimano gets the better end of the sponsorship.

Serious Bps Reel Problem
can you feel spring tension when you press down on the pinion gear with your finger, or a clean screw driver?

Super Curado 50E
I was wondering if DVT is greasing the carbontex, or leaving them dry in the curado's?

How Long Can You Keep A Fish In A Cooler/fridge Before You Clean It?
The answer is day's, at the right temp. Havn't you ever seen pictures of tuna boats come in with their decks full of whole fish? They just put them in a holding tank (fridge). Hope you guy's who want them gutted in hours don't eat sushi.

What Knot Do You Use For Tying On A Flouro Leader?
Is it just me, or have some of you found that some lines are stronger using a uni to uni, and some are stronger using the alberto? The copoly I use is stronger with a uni to uni connection. I have used the Alberto for a couple years now, but find with my copoly brand, the uni to uni stronger. Sorry if i hijacked the thread, the OP did say fluoro..

How Long Of Leader Should I Use?
So your line to line knot doesn't go through your levelwind.

Over-Analyzing
I'll try to answer the Line Shy Question.. This answer is above me, but i believe it.On the ultra clear, highly pressured, California lake I fish, Yes the bass are line shy, but not cause they can see the line, but because they can feel the line movements with their lateral line. After a while they get trained to understand what the displacement feels like, from the diameter of the line. This info comes from the second best tournament angler on this lake, and the best totally agreed with him. They both drop shot 4# no matter if their fishing deep or shallow in brush, rock, because the difference between 4# and 6#, is how many more bites they will get on 4#, from the bigger smarter bass.

Interpretations Of Bites?
Honestly I dont think it was a hook set problem. To me it was the mood of the fish that i havn't seen before.Me missing the hook set, the bait flying five feet up and away from that fish, then getting slammed, tells me they wanted the bait in a fast moving motion? So that seems they were in an aggressive mood, yet they were just nipping the worm sitting still. In my limited fishing experience, I dont remember getting another chance after missing a hook set, but one fish I had three chances, then nailed him? Francho, they were largemouth. I guess it will be a mystery to me with out someone witnessing it with me.

Interpretations Of Bites?
Funny things happened to me today while fishing. First, I was drop shotting deep with a texas rigged trick worm, the bass hit it, i did the normal reel down and check, felt him set the hook for a miss, then he nailed it again, landed her.Second fish did the same thing but it missed it three times before i got her.About three fish later, same thing happens, I set the hook for a miss, get a wind knot, as I fix the braid around the tip, she hits it again and I land the dinker. Why does this never happen to me, and why three times in one day? Also how do I inerprete the fishes mood cause of this?

Okuma's 2012 Line Up
Francho, Check out the specs on the Makaira Reel.About three years ago Okuma went out and hired two of the best reel engineers as consultants (one being Cal Sheets). The Makaira is what they came up with. The big name angler's in tuna, swear this reel is the only reel you can take out of the box,not modify, and is ready to catch 250+ tuna.I'm sure you know it was a Cal Sheets modified Penn that caught that 405 pounder.

Fished it today for 6 Dinkers, Dang lake can just shut off some day's...

Leader Keeps Breaking!
I say try a different knot at the hook end, see if it keeps happening.Just try at home with a scale, on the filler spool.
