Do any of you guys eat poptarts? I eat a pack every morning. I usually get the variety packs. So far my favorite is brown sugar cinnamon. Which flavors are your favorites?
  4. I love the third one! thats gonna hook some nice ones. I still haven't gotten around to using the shallow crank i made because I need to get some circuit board for its lip.
  5. jig makings addicting isnt it natural. especially once you get a fish on a home made jig. I just started making my own last week.
  6. i hope I can get the boat sometime like my birthday. I wonder if I could fish the lower potomac with it? Its good to know that i won't need a trailer.
  7. do you guys think I would need a trailer to transport it?
  8. how much do you think a ten foot tracker would cost?
  9. I really want a jon boat. my dad says that it would be hard to carry and transport it to where we fish. I was thinking a ten footer could hold us both. All that the boat would need to hold is a trolling motor and depth finder since we will only be fishing the deep structure of small lakes. how would we make a ford focus station wagon or subaru forrester transport it? what type of jonboat would you guys reccomend?
  10. don't worry sam, it happens to everyone.
  11. yep. I belive the exact same thing, the larger the trailer, the slower the fall.
  12. i'm getting the seven foot six heavy/fast flipping stick.
  13. they're pretty good. my dad uses them alot though i usually prefer to stick with jigs.
  14. 210 denier thread and epoxy works fine for me
  15. thanks jig man and g-man. so I don't seperate the rubber first, I tie it on while it is un seperated? Have you guys ordered from net craft before? If so did your order come quickly? mine just shipped at 10:45 am from net craft in ohio to me in maryland.
  16. so i should in the middle of each strand of rubber right? and also, should i finish the tying with a half hitch or is there a better knot for it?
  17. could I pull the weed guard out, tie the skirt on and then epoxy the weedguard back in?
  18. do you know how many jigs 5 and a half feet by one inch of round rubber will make? I got it from netcraft.
  19. I just oredered thread and round rubber yesterday before seeing your post g man. will thread work okay? I also got some premade and prepainted jig heads with weedguards because my dad didn't want me pouring lead or heating jig heads for painting. maybe my dad will let me get some poison head molds and a lead pourer/melter soon.

at bass pro I saw a buckeye mop jig. It looked pretty big. Have any of you guys used the mop jig. I was going to buy it but decided not to because I was already buying a lot of other jigs. Do you guys think I could just tie something like it with round rubber now that I bought the stuff to tie my own jigs?
