  1. I personally think that what plastic you use can make a huge difference. there are many different factors like rate of fall, action, bulk, color, and scent. Catt also knows a lot about the differences between different plastics.
  2. I gotta show my friend ;D
  3. in about 45 minutes me and my friend are going down to one of my favorite spots to hook some nice largemouth. this will be one of his first times fishing. I will use a jig and ragecraw and he will use a wacky rigged four inch finesse worm. I will try to update with pictures if he brings his camera.
  4. and think of it like this, now you can buy more lures, rods, and reels. now you are a middle budget hooker.

what do I need for making flippin jigs? I'm thinking some poison tail jig heads, some round rubber(black, blue, and brown), some weedguards, some powder paint, and some saltwater grade fly tying thread.
  6. how long is the lure?
  7. That 's my boy. why don't you buy every single one that tackle warehouse has?
  8. paddle tail tubes.
  9. I've always heard of using red rattle traps in the spring and have used them with some success. do you think the craws turn red in most bodies of water in america?
  10. I see them bigger than that when going fishing and I don't even hunt ;D master
  11. no cell phone means 60 dollars worth of lres from tackle warehouse a month for me and my dad.
  12. I picked up some denny brauer 3x magnum chunks for winter jig fishing because they don't have too much action. some of the articles on bass resource say to use bigger lures for winter and some say to use smaller lures. I plan on nose hooking these on 1/2 ounce flippin jigs. the trailers are about four inches long.
  13. many times it's not that the authorities don't have enough officers it's just that they don't care. never has a park police man actually come to arrest people who are illegaly keeping fish when I have called them even though they said they would come and arrest them. I personally believe that all gamefish should be illegal to keep and that there should be major fines for keeping them. though thats my opinion.
  14. wow, i've got to get into throwing big swimbaits, not four inch basstrix ;D. I have just noticed how big the fish get where I fish after landing a 7 pounder yesterday. so two pounders will strike 8 inch plus swimbaits?
  15. what's the secret swimbait?
  16. Fourbizz, I can't find the bucket grabber on google either, what is it? do you have a link so I can buy some sometime?
  17. that was a walleye. was the guy you talked to bottom fishing and carrying a bucket? those people aren't usually the best source of information.
  18. Interesting fact but That really proves nothing as far as what works best for big fish though. Swimbaits haven't been popular very long and alot of trophy fisherman throwing the really big stuff aren't keeping 13 pounders for studies. It proves the fact that Big Baits don't mean big bass; aside from swim baits the #1 big bass bait may well be a jig but think about it a jig-n-craw aint but 4 maybe 5 in length. I think that the reason that only nine share lunkers were caught on 8+ inch baits is because most people don't use baits that big because they don't have confidence in them. i don't know though because I just caught my biggest bass yesterday and it was on a big white spinnerbait near a creek channel loaded with wood.
  19. I hate it when people do that. the best thing to do is scream at them until they release the fish and then scream at them a little more. It always works. though you should always do it under adult supervision.
  20. they're everywhere now. though they seem to be doing nothing.
  21. have any of you guys tried the new coffee scented perfect plastics by strike king? I picked up some of the ochos and they feel very soft and stretchy just like they were hand poured. I can't wait to try them out.
  22. I like the first one a lot.
