I know this has probably been covered, but who has the best deals on Lucky Craft baits? I am looking at stocking up over the winter and just wanted the best deal possible. Thanks.

Anybody on here good at graphic design? I am looking for a new logo for my small company. I need to get some done so I can get them put on some shirts and boat decals. If interested, please send me a PM.

    Gamakatsu splitshot/dropshot hook size 1&2
  5. I agree 100%. Split everything down the middle. It helps take pressure off of you and your partner. After all it is a team tournament.
  6. I don't know what it is about the coffee, but it does work! I have been pouring baits with coffee for about 2 months now, and I am impressed with how they work. Now do they work any better than regular scented baits, I don't know. I have been having great success on the 4" lizards poured with coffee. I think this whole scent thing just comes down to the old "confidence" factor.
  7. I stopped making the Hula Stik because of lack of sales. It was kind of a pain is the a** to make also. I could never get the production that I would like. Just to time consuming. I actually sold my molds, and there is still one on ebay right now with skirts.
  8. What kind of tackle are you interested in making? Soft plastics, jigs, spinnerbaits, crankbaits? There are a lot of very skilled people on here that are very helpful, so feel free to ask a lot of questions. Good luck.
  9. That's it Thanks for the help.
  10. Can someone possible tell me where I can get rod handle weights for balancing a custom rod? I saw a website that sold kits that inserted into the blank, but I can't seem to remember where I saw it. Thanks.
  11. I was hoping someone on here knows how St. Croix is with warranties on their blanks. I broke my rod on a hookset last night :'( I am just wondering if I am screwed, or they will be able to help me out. I have never had to do any warranty stuff on a custom built rod before. So I am not sure how it works. Thanks.
  12. Blue Fox used to make bass style spinnerbaits too. They used to be my favorite when I was younger. I'm not sure if they still make them or not.
  13. I use a Quantum PT Energy in the 6:3 to 1 ratio paired with a Loomis custom built GLX 7' MH. I really like the power the rod gives you.
  14. I have to say that I am really dissapointed in the schedule I was really hoping they would expand on the western swing. The Columbia River system deserves an Elite series event.
  15. I am sorry to here about your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and his family. I know how tough it is to lose someone close to you at such a young age. Hang in there.
  16. Yep, that's Chelan. The picture is actually at Wapato Point. I brought the fish back to the dock there so my kids could see it before I released it. I caught it closer towards chelan. When does the river start cranking out smallies up there anyway? I can't wait to hit it.
  17. The Columbia rocks! I would put it up against almost any other body of water in the country for the quality of smallmouth available. Do you fish up in the Wenatchee area? I lived in Wenatchee for several years, and my folks still do. I have had some great days up river near the Okanagon river and up towards Cheif Joseph Dam, but I never really hit the Wenatchee stretch much. I plan on giving it a try this year though. Rock Island area looks like it would be pretty good.
  18. I just got my new humminbird electronics and I was wondering what kind of battery setup some of you have when running 2 color/gps units. On my old boat, I ended up with a dead cranking battery a couple of times because I was running my gps at all times. I know most people leave their electronics on the entire time they are out, so If I have a good crankin battery, will it last the entire day? Or should I have a dedicated battery for just my electronics? Thanks.
  19. I like the 30 on everything except my dropshot reel, I have the 20 on it. The 30 holds a lot more line.
  20. What are your thoughts on the new Halo? I am thinking about giving it a shot.
  21. I looked into the Skeeter fish and ski's when I went to get my boat. I needed a boat that allowed me to fish in tournaments and also sat more than 2-3 people. I have a wife and 3 kids, so I had to go with the fish and ski. I looked at the 210 models due to the length. I ended up getting a Viper Coral, due to the fact that it was a 20' boat and it also fits my 7'rods in the locker. Viper no longer is in production, but if you can find one, grab it. They make an awesome bass boat, and IMO the best fish and ski hands down. Out of all of the other fish and ski models I went to look at though, I really did like the skeeter the best. It looks a lot sleeker than the other models that Ranger, Nitro and Triton have. I think you will be happy with your purchase. Good luck.
  22. I like the GYCB grubs too. I also have been fishing these more over the last couple of years.http://westcoastcustomtackle.com/admin/product_info.php?products_id=57&osCsid=764f10b7c5fb7d66159b420e7b749436 Mann's stingray grub is very similar and is a great grub too. A couple of fishing buddies of mine have fished this style of grub almost exclusively for a few years and finally talked me into making them. We usually fish them on a 1/4 oz. head in 12-40'of water.
  23. I built a spinnerbait rod using the St. Croix SCIV "Sweeper spinnerbait" model. It is a 7' MH fast action blank. It is an awesome blank. I think it is the same model as you referred to.
  24. O.K. guys, I just got my bonus from work, and I am buying a GPS combo unit for the console, and a regular unit for the bow(both color). Do I go with Humminbird or Lowrance? I need to keep it at around 1200-1400 dollars. Thanks.
  25. You forgot to add his appearance fees for seminars, outdoor shows etc... They said these guys get around $5000.00 a pop for each one. That can add up to some serious money
