  1. Thanks for the info guys. I appreciate it.
  2. My own hand poured drop shot worms and gobies and Panic Minnows.
  3. I would go with the Rogue Flippin stick in the MH model. It has a nice soft tip and plenty of backbone. Great rod.
  4. O.K. guys, my buddy gave me an 80.00 gift card for Cabela's and wants me to get him a rod. What would you suggest. I would like to get him something like a medium light action so he can use it for drop shotting and for a all around trout rod. He is only a casual fisherman so I couldn't talk him into spending any extra money. Any help would be appreciated.
  5. Easy choice. Quantum all the way

This rig will work just about anytime of the year. I really like it for bed fishing smallmouth. I like to use a small Western goby in the sand color or anyother small white finesse type bait. I know a few guys that are catching a few right now with water temps around 45 degrees dropshoting a tube in 50' of water
  7. 1. split shot 5" Western Lizard 2. 5" Western Stik 3. 4.5" Western Dropshot worm 4. Jig n pig 5 spinnerbait 6. dropshot Western Goby
  8. Here is my first boat Here is my current ride
  9. Yes that's the one.
  10. I throw a ton of coffee baits. After the success I had with them late last year, I will continue to throw them. I am not saying they work any better than something like Mega Strike, but they do work. As a matter of fact my new confidence bait is a straight coffee(no colorant) 4.5" lizard for smallmouth. It all comes down to confidence, and I have a ton of it in the coffee baits. Just my 2 cents.

I would buy a rod kit from mudhole.com They have the lower end loomis blanks pretty cheap.
  12. I was hoping to get some basic info on this lake. I am travelling down at the end of April for a NW Bass tournament. I have never fished the lake and probably won't be able to prefish for it since i have a tournament up here in Washington state the week prior. Any info would be very helpful and appreciated. Thanks.
  13. Me too. I live in Enumclaw, but was raised in eastern Washington. Welcome.
  14. Yes, most guides available need to be ground down a hair to get a good taper so your thread will climb the guide foot properly when wrapping.
  15. I got mine too. That thing weighs a ton It made me wonder what they spend annually on catalogs. It has to be a lot. Although I guess since I dropped a couple of grand on electronics for the boat, they can afford to give me a catalog
  16. One more thing. What the heck is the Food Source Minnow doing anywhere close to this list ;D
  17. What are they smoking!!!! The Berkely Batwing frog ahead of the hula grub? The Storm Wild Eye swimbait and Terminator spinnerbait ahead of the Senko? Not a chance.
  18. You can take some ground up cork or cork dust and mix it with some epoxy. Fill in the crack, let dry and then sand. Good as new.
  19. I took Friday off I will be there all day long.
  20. Here you go. http://www.geminisportmarketing.com/floorgraphics/index.php?album=backgrounds
  21. They are beautiful baits. I also throw War Eagles a lot. Great baits.
  22. Coffee does work very well. I actually added a coffee line of baits to my website because of the success I was having this last fall on coffee baits. I don't know what it is about the scent, but bass do like it. I don't know if they work any better than regular scents, but I sure have a lot of confidence in it.
