Let me play the devil's advocate for a second: Why support this 'entertainment' when most if not all the guys/gals are using steriods/HGH and some are becoming mentally unstable. High suicide rate and violent behavior has been on the increase in this 'sport'.

Looking for some ideas on what to name my 9' Pond Prowler now that I've got it set up the way I want it. I will stencil it on both sides near the rear of it in black lettering. My wife said to name it 'P.M.S. Refuge' for when my daughters and her become 'irritable' at times. Any ideas?

Yeah my 9' $400.00 pond prowler cost an additional $400.00 for good seats, fish finder, anchor, proper plug, marine silicon for drain fitting, etc.... I love it but feel like I'm getting nickeled and dimed on everything. Beats shorefishing by a country mile though.

You're taking a big risk; I'd call a local mechanic to see how much he'd charge you to weld it BEFORE you buy it.

I guess the biggest reason to say something in that situation is the guy has his kid with him and you don't want the kid to be discouraged right off the bat. Point the dad in the right direction respectfully and he'll be appreciative.

Since the temp of the water at my lake is at 92 deg. I guess all I AM doing while fishing is practicing casting. Not much biting WHEN I can go fishing this week. Seriously though, long-time shore fisherman just now getting into jon-boating so I'm amazed at the room I have to cast. Fishing from shore has taught me precision and now that I have more room, I feel great about my casting.

Do you have a specific body of water picked out yet? If so, what's the make up of it? Does it have lily pads, hydrilla, etc......Structure will dictate alot of what lures you throw and how to fish them.

If it's a female large mouth, would you name it Ethel after my mother-in-law?
