  1. Good stuff! Let's keep this going! Anyone remember falling asleep in front the TV and waking up to this? Bet you can hear that tone right now.
  2. Banks Lake. Good choice!
  3. Is it current? Are you SURE? Better check now! So many times people forget their password, and when they use the "forgot password" feature, it sends the confirmation link to the email you have in your account. If it's not current, no email. So then what? Well, most folks hit the "contact us" link to tell me about the issue. Problem is, all I get on my end is an email address to respond to.....the one in your account. So there's nothing I can do to help you. So you better be sure the email you're using is current. To check, click the down arrow next to your name in the upper left, then click "settings". You'll see what email address you have listed, and can update it there.

Meh. We used to do this with spinnerbaits decades ago with limited results. Seemed like a good idea at the time, but never really produced that well, and so it fell off the radar. I'm sure some folks will manage to catch a few with them, but this too shall pass.
  5. Yup, that's what I thought he did. Had no idea he transferred control to me. LOL.
  6. Hmmm...he was supposed to just allow "sharing", not transfer control. Sorry guys. I didn't know.
  7. I what? It wasn't my meeting to end.

This a fantastic thread. Keep it going. Lest we forget.
  9. Professional angler and jig guru Jeremy Lawyer was gracious enough to sit down with me and give fantastic tips for fishing jigs in the winter. This is some good stuff!
  10. I'd say a 7'0" - 7'3" Med Heavy rod will do the trick. That's like that the crescent wrench of bass fishing. You can throw a whole lotta lures on one of those. I think I have at least 4 in my boat. LOL St. Croix, Okuma, and Dobyns are all quality brands that have rods in your budget range. I'd throw in Denali and the Shimano Curado rods into the mix to round out your choices.
  11. Put the candle back!
  12. In case you missed it. https://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_123/bass-pro-Sportsman-Warehouse-12421.html
  13. As mentioned, nobody is going to get banned from stumbling across a blacklisted name. But if you know better, and then do it anyway, then that will will be addressed accordingly. Ok guys, let's keep this thread on track. Moving on....
  14. Washington state has been doing it this way for nearly 3 decades now. No issues. Tournies have the normal 5 fish limit, and directors are free to choose any sort of size restriction (if any). Fishing seems to have improved overall as a result of the slot limits.
  15. STD and LTD are usually more expensive through your employer than through private insurance.
  16. Well, one thing about offseason rumors is that they rarely come true. It's usually from desperate sports writers that have little to write about. So I don't give any credence to rumors and speculations. That said, the 'Hawks are long overdue for an overhaul. So it's an easy, soft target to talk about. I think it's a sure bet there's going to be some major changes during the offseason. But nobody knows what that will be, not even the 'Hawks. So just ignore the rumors.
  17. Hmmm.... when is it. Time?
  18. Pro Tip: Facebook is not a news agency. It's a gossip machine.
  19. Jerkbait legend Mike McClelland was gracious enough to sit down with me and divulge all his winter jerkbait knowledge for us!
  20. Yep, I know it's early, but I'd want to see if anyone is interested in joining me at a fantastic BBQ joint Saturday night, March 5th. I'm made reservations for a group of 15. Happy if more people join! (No, I'm not paying for your meal. LOL) Edit: Event cancelled
  21. INSANE footage!!
  22. Or some of the YouTube videos out there.
  23. This should help:
  24. So nobody has had it happen to them, and nobody knows anyone (personally) that's had it happen to them. Just a random, unsubstantiated Facebook post and suddenly people are screaming " TACKLEWAREHOUSE SCAM!!" Hmmm....since these people are so gullible, maybe I should post on Facebook I have some land to sell in Florida - real cheap!
