A big misconception is that fish MUST be fizzed if they're caught "deep". Not so. Fish can be caught deep, put in the livewell, and not experience any issues. I've caught fish as deep as 70' without needing to fizz them. I've also caught fish shallow (less than 15') and needed to fizz them. Let the fish tell you what they need. Fin clips do more than calm the fish. They help the fish equalize themselves...to a certain extent. Some fish will still need to be fizzed, but many times fish can equalize themselves if fin clips are used. Because once a fish is struggling, it stresses out more and more, and is unlikely to self-equalize. The clips give them a chance. And, this cannot be repeated enough: NEVER fizz through the mouth! No matter how "skilled" you think you are. The margin of error is razor-thin, and the difference between life and death. Why risk it when you can easily do it through the side? Here's how:

No, I don't. Like I said in the video, once I find a source, I buy a ton because they're here today, gone tomorrow. Try Googling it. That's how I found my last source years ago.

My video was about lumaflex skirts. That's all I use on my spinnerbaits.

Fin clips CAN make a difference if applied sooner rather than later (i.e. after the fish is showing severe signs of struggling). It can help the fish self-equalize. But if that doesn't help, then fizz - through the side, never the throat no matter how skilled you think you are. So...Fin Clips first, then fizz if the fish is struggling 20 mins later.
  7. NFC West guys, NFC West But ya, referee calls were bad all around. On par for the entire NFL season. They HAVE to address this chronic problem.

  18. At BassResource, we believe everyone should be able to make purchasing decisions with confidence. And while our site doesn’t feature every company or fishing product available on the market, we’re proud that the guidance we offer, the information we provide and the content we create are objective, independent, straightforward — and free. So how do we make money? Our partners compensate us. This may influence which products we review and write about (and where those products appear on the site), but it in no way affects our recommendations or advice, which are grounded in thousands of hours of research. Our partners cannot pay us to guarantee favorable reviews of their products or services. Be assured that we’re absolutely inflexible about our editorial autonomy. We never allow sponsors to influence the content we create, the reviews we give, or how we operate BassResource. Our goal is to be your most trusted ally in your pursuit of bass fishing. BassResource only partners with trusted and credible organizations, manufacturers, and other service providers. Our readers and members know that if we recommend it, then it's passed the high bar we set, but only because we have tested and used the products/services first, before we put our name behind it. Only then will we recommend a product or service to you. In some cases, BassResource's editorial team may rate or rank certain products or services. These ratings or rankings are determined solely by the editorial team(s) without regard to any financial or advertising relationship that may exist with companies that provide the product or services. Our partners are informed of this policy and must agree to abide by it before doing business with us. So while I can't comment on reviews you see elsewhere, the reviews you see here by myself and the staff are honest and straightforward based upon personal experience with the products. Glenn
