  1. I'd use the same setup I outlined in the video. No, sorry.
  2. Here's a quick video that explains the different combos for finesse jigs, depending on how you're fishing them. Hope that helps!
  3. Nope, you didn't. One person tried to steer it into politics, and as you know, that's not allowed here. We're back on track now. No worries.
  4. Yep, and yep, and yep. Yes, I've taken a boater safety course. So has my wife. Yes we received discounts on insurance. Yes, the real incentive was to be a more responsible boater on the water. On a side note, it's now required in my state. All boaters (and PWC operators) must have a boater safety card. But I got mine before it was required, simply because it was the right thing to do.
  5. My water pump was damaged and I don’t even know it! Here’s how I found it and prevente damage to my outboard motor.
  6. We were talking about budget bass boating, kayaks, float tubes, etc. as viable options to buying a more expensive boat. I couldn't get a word in. But I wanted to ask if you guys have heard of these electric boats: https://freedomelectricmarine.com/ Definitely more expensive than the options discussed, but more affordable than buying a big bass boat. Just something else to consider.
  7. Here's the ticket:
  8. I actually jumped on one of them to see if I could crack or break them. I about broke my back falling down! LOL! But the boxes held up without a crack or scratch. Does that mean they'll look like new indefinitely? I doubt it. But these are very well made and very strong. I expect these will last a few decades of normal use.
  9. Not clear-as-glass like these.
  10. Keri is to spool up some Seaguar Gold Label leader for this year. 30lb for flippin, and 6 pound for finesse. How would you use it? She wants ideas.
  11. We just love how the clear lids on these Plano Edge boxes makes it so easy to see what you have at a glance. Here's a look at our tube bait box. https://www.planomolding.com/fishing/fish-series/edge-series
  12. Here's a deep collection of articles on largemouth and smallmouth behavior, as well as aquatic ecosystems, food chains, water quality, fish stocking, and habitat. https://www.bassresource.com/fish-facts https://www.bassresource.com/lake-management
  13. He shoulda used the *** BB.
  14. Seaguar Smackdown. It has all the qualities you want. It's a workhorse.
  15. Might want to watch this video...
  16. We get a lot of questions about what rod, reel, and line to use for Rat-L-Traps, One Knockers, and other lipless crankbaits. So here's a quick video to help answer that question.
  17. My father shoots competition sporting clays, and is one of the top in the nation in his age class. He uses a customized Benelli, which happens to fit me perfectly. He introduced me to sporting clays, and I did quite well (for a beginner). I can see how easily I could get into it, but I pulled back on the reigns because I already don't have enough time to go fishing. LOL!
  18. I noticed a lack of comprehensive information about boat buying across the Internet. Both written and videos don't go into enough detail to help people buy boats. So I put this video together to address that need. Whether you're looking for a new or used boat, or your first boat ever, this video dives into the details, including information you rarely hear about. Hope this helps!
  19. Here's a brand new video to help you in the purchase process. Enjoy!
