  14. Couple of good threads for your enjoyment:
  15. Yup, both are locked - always. I also remove the pin to the swing-away tongue. Got a prop lock too.
  16. Video time.... we are busy getting to it. Keep an eye out for new videos coming soon, or subscribe to our YouTube channel to be notified as soon as a new video is posted!
  17. I usually go for 1/16th and 1/8th oz weights, and adjust from there. Obviously I use heavier weights in current and wind.
  18. American Lake, Offutt, Lake St. Clair, Clear Lake, Tanwax, Lake Kapowsin, Pattison, Silver Lake are all good lakes around there. Plenty more than that, but it's a start.
  19. Tubes are one of my "Go To" baits. I've been using them for decades - ever since they came out in the '80s. Here's several videos I made about fishing them:
  20. I used Continentals on my F-450 and, like you, the wear patterns were bad. Ended up with out-of-round tires and uneven wear. So when it came to get new tires, I wanted to get Goodyear's, but after determining the kind of tire I wanted, I discovered they don't make the right tire for my use. I've used Michelin's on my F-150 and my old F-250 and really liked them. So I went with Michelin on my F-450. So far, so good. They're a moderately aggressive tread pattern, but road noise isn't as bad as I thought they'd be. The key takeaway is determine how you are going to use them. Road tires are considerably different than offroad/road, snow, or "all-season" tires. Load weights are important too. Once you figure out that, THEN shop around. You might find a great Goodyear tire, or discover a different brand makes a better tire suited to your specific requirements.
  21. Wait, what?! Holy cow man! A major blast from the past. So glad to hear from you! Hope you're doing well. I see you made a new profile, Don. I can merge it with your old one and keep the new user/pass if you want. Just makes it easy that way. Wow. I was just looking at your old profile last week, wondering whatever happened to you. No joke. Welcome back!
  22. Simms makes great rain gear. Their HQ is in Montana, so of course their rain gear is going to be made to withstand the elements. Their top-of-the-line is the ProDry rainsuits. They're made with Gore-Tex, so they're a little pricey. But you get that breathability you're looking for. Outstanding quality and not heavy. The best value would be the Challenger series. Not Gore-Tex, but they hold up well and are still reasonably breathable. They're reasonably priced too. I have both suits. Order your exact size, because they're a loose fit so you can wear a coat/sweatshirt underneath without feeling you're wrapped in Saran Wrap!
  23. I've had a lot of requests to make a video that shows how to read lake maps and topographical maps, so I made this video that covers the essentials, plus a few tips about structure fishing along the way. Enjoy!
  24. Mid-March, my friend. Give it a couple weeks to start warming up, and it's time to hit it. Many lakes are open year 'round for bass fishing, but check the regs to be sure the lake you want to fish is open.
