Top Lures for Spring
With lots of choices available, it's sometimes difficult to decide which lure to throw during spring. So here are the top three lures I throw throughout the entire spring. What are your go-to baits?

Anyone used these casting rods: MH Enigma HPT Gen 3, IROD Genesis III, Okuma EVX, Daiwa Tatula?
I have the Okuma EVX 7'2" MH. It's a great, all-purpose rod true to it's power rating. Lightweight and sensitive, it's one of my favorite rods.

This is an article about the effects of moon phases on fishing ~ or not...
I treat moon phases and lunar periods as additional sources of information to help adapt to mother nature, not pick best day to go fishing. Understand how different factors affect fishing, and create good plan B's and C's, and you'll increase your success.

Rant: Rude boaters at my hotel
Hate to say it, but you might want to consider installing a key-card gate. That way only the guests you give keys have access to the parking lot. Then you can manage how many trailers can park there.

Silica Gel Desiccant In Planos
The Plano Edge boxes have holes in the dividers for increased airflow, and they come with silica gel packs. They must have been watching this thread. LOL!

Hook organization
Yup, this is what I do, except I don't have a need for 120 bags of hooks. I keep things simple and steer clear of single-use items. I have 15-20 total hook bags, and keep them in 3 compartments in my 3700 Plano Rustrictor: Regular worm hooks, flippin/pitchin hooks, finesse hooks. The Rustrictor is impregnated with rust inhibiting materials, so I never need to worry about rusting. Then you might want to try the Rustrictor Terminal Tackle Box. It has smaller compartments (26 total), and prevents rust too.

Seaguar Red Label and Line Conditoner
Be sure to spray several pumps on a paper towel after shaking it, to ensure you're using the mixed (shaken) product and not the unshaken product currently in the pickup tube.

Seaguar Red Label and Line Conditoner
Few people know you have to shake it every time before you spray it. I told him to add that to the directions on the bottle. Not sure if he did or not.

How long to bass live?
I see this question pop up here every now and then, and I get asked this fairly often. So I made a video to help answer it. Enjoy!

Thanks for the kudos guys! I really appreciate it. Any more nominations?- Seaguar Red Label and Line Conditoner
"I know a guy"....the guy who invented KVD L&L. He used to advertise here. He's a passionate angler and wouldn't be happy with anything that damages line. His product doesn't remove any line coatings or damage any line. Rather than remove anything, it literally fills in the microscopic pockets and abnormalities in line, thus making them smoother and more supple.- Name this lure

- 2020 and newer boats required to have cut-off switch.
I've been using the kill switch correctly since the mid-80's. A law isn't going to change that. I guess you could say the kill switch and I had a common law marriage, and now it's official! LOL!! - Help Us Celebrate 25 Years!
