  1. Whelp, I might be wrong! The Hawks are definitely in "rebuilding" mode. Wow, what a comedy of errors. I'm surprised they squeezed out a win. I've said many times before that Geno Smith is NOT a franchise QB, and boy did he ever prove that again today, especially in the first half. I've also said many times before that the Hawks O-Line is terrible, and today they were awful. A lot of talent on the field, but they're definitely not playing as a team. Based off today, I'll revise my prediction to 7-9. It's going to be a very long season.
  2. "King"? Seriously? LOL! Ya, get off yer knees. LOL I'll take the bows though.
  3. Thanks for watching!
  4. What's the over/under until Prescott gets injured? 🤣
  5. Sidebar: Do you ever feel that as you get older, you unintentionally become privy to inside jokes the younger generations don't get? 🤣

The pandemic has produced a mental health crisis with effects that may reverberate for years — even decades — to come. The COVID-19 pandemic has been the most traumatic worldwide event of our lifetime. And after several painful years and more than a million deaths in the U.S. alone, it is still unclear if the pandemic is finally behind us. That uncertainty is one of many stressors that have taken a significant toll on mental health. As we continue on our path to recovery, it's important to acknowledge that the impact of Covid-19 remains deeply felt within our community. Many of us have experienced profound losses, including friends, family, and acquaintances. The memories and trauma are still very fresh, and such experiences are not easily left behind. With this in mind, I want to remind everyone that this thread will not serve as a platform for rehashing old debates that may revive deeply rooted emotions. To protect the well-being of all members, this thread will be under strict moderation. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in maintaining a supportive and respectful environment. Glenn

Good reminder! Thank you! I've been getting the Covid vaccine and boosters ever since it came out, along with all the other vaccinations since I was a kid. I'm a big boy. I ain't afraid of no shot.

  10. I have a pair of power-poles and use them multiple times every time I go fishing. I'm surprised I haven't worn them out!
  11. That will NEVER happen. The anglers will never agree to it because it's too far and expensive for them to travel. The last time they scheduled the CA Delta, the Elites revolted and B.A.S.S. caved in to their demands. The 2025 schedule is....average and conservative. Nothing leaps out to me that's exciting and new. Even Fork, with its larger-than-average fish, is a fishery that's been visited so many times by them. It's getting bland. Thousands of lakes and rivers in the U.S. and they keep going back to the same ones while eliminating the entire West. Same ol B.A.S.S. stuck in their ways. Meh.
  12. Yep, that was a crazy catch. I think I ended up netting it (I'm not sure because we kept passing the net around) "DON'T EAT THE CHICKEN!!!" LOL
  13. That's a big relief!

  18. It's a good time for a reminder before folks starting heading off into the woods.
  19. Ladies and Gentlemen, Members, and Friends, Today we celebrate an extraordinary individual who has been the heartbeat of our community for nearly two decades. Today, we honor and bid farewell to Kent (A.K.A. RoadWarrior, or RW for short), who is retiring after 18 years of dedicated service as a global moderator. When I think about the journey these forums have taken, it’s impossible to separate its success, growth, and culture from the incredible contributions of RW. He has not only been a moderator but also a mentor, a friend, and, most importantly, a cornerstone of the community we cherish so deeply. RW joined us at a time when these forums were just starting to grow, and through his hard work, passion, and unwavering commitment, he helped shape them into the thriving, vibrant community it is today. His influence can be felt in every corner of this place—from the way we welcome new members to the traditions we hold dear, RW's fingerprints are everywhere. For 20 years, RW has embodied the values we hold high: integrity, excellence, and a deep sense of community. He has been a guiding light, ensuring that our members always felt more than just part of the forums—they felt part of a family. His ability to connect with people, to understand their needs, and to make everyone feel valued has been nothing short of remarkable. RW, your retirement marks the end of an era, but your legacy will continue to inspire us. The warmth and camaraderie you've fostered here will resonate for many years to come. While it’s hard to imagine this place without you, I know that the values and culture you’ve instilled in us will continue to thrive, thanks to the solid foundation you've laid. On behalf of everyone here, I want to express our deepest gratitude. Thank you for your years of service, for your dedication, and for being the heart and soul of this community. You will be greatly missed, but your influence will remain with us always. As you step into this new chapter of your life, we wish you all the joy, relaxation, and adventure that retirement brings. You’ve more than earned it. Remember, this will always be your home, and you will always have a place here with us. Let’s all raise a glass to RW—a true legend of Bassresource. Here’s to you, RW. Thank you for everything. Cheers! Glenn
  20. Yup, I'm not signing up for any streaming services just to watch sports. If it keeps going that way, I'll back to the good 'ol FREE radio to listen to games.
  21. Thank you so much! I appreciate the support!
