I'm glad you have a disclaimer in your sig.- Who is making the high end multi strand braids these days?
Smackdown has been my go-to for years. I have no complaints. That said, Seaguar's JDM Pex8 braid is a new contender to America. Its 24lb has the same diameter as 10lb. It's like sewing thread. It's been in Japan for a few years with great success. https://seaguar.com/products/new-jdm-pex8-braid- Dobyns rods was sold!
I haven't had personal experience with them, so I don't have first-hand experience. But I do know they're making them like they used to now. They claim to be back like the good ol days.- Dobyns rods was sold!
Allstar did decline in quality for awhile, but recently went through an overhaul in manufacturing processes that brought them back to how they used to be. Perhaps you're referring to that period when quality was an issue.- Five Ways To Crank Your Way Into Summer Bass

There is no requirement that states the FDA must approve animal products. I guess the BASS director doesn't know that. That said, Surelife products ARE FDA approved and EPA certified, and have been around for nearly 4 decades.- Eagle Claw tube hooks with clip

Batteries? We don't need no stinkin' batteries!- The All 'Finesse' outing- what are you rigging
So....finesse fishing is something I enjoy doing just as much as throwing bigger baits, and I've been doing it since the 80's. My setup is as follows: 4 rods (all are 1/16th or 1/8th oz): Dropshot rig Splitshot/slipshot rig Tube Small football jigs/finesse jigs On the first two, I can rig a wide variety of finesse baits - 3" grubs, 4" straight worms like the Roboworm, reapers, 3" Senkos, 3" minnows, Zipper Worms, Flat Worms, Super Doos, etc The tube rod is always rigged with a 1/8th oz weedless 60-degee jighead. Sometimes I'll use a 90-degree jighead if I want more spiral-falling action The last rod, I use for hula grubs, 3" grubs, and small craws on the football jig. I'll also tie on ned rigs, hover rigs, hair jigs, darter jigs, and finesse jigs.- The new Suzuki DF250 Stealth is quite the head turner.

You know they've been working on self-driving cars, right? Many of these features are already on production cars. And some cars can auto-parallel park. Think they can't do that with boats? Well, think again. Check out this video...- SEVIIN Reels: Durability Proven by Testing
I have reels that are both aluminum and graphite frames, and honestly I haven't noticed a significant difference. I don't know....maybe if I were horsing in halibut or Tuna I'd have a different perspective, but both seem fine for bass. - The Stealth Line Just Got Bigger!
