I use it all the time. I started using it in the mid-80's and haven't put it down yet! Here's a few videos to get you started:

SEVIIN Reels: Durability Proven by Testing
Last fall, no matter how many lures/techniques I tried, the bass were completely focused on hula grubs. I mean, wow, they were addicted and wanted only that. So my Seviin/Mojo Trigon combo was used almost exclusively for 2 solid months. While I can say I was getting bored with throwing the same thing every day, my gear stood the test through dozens of fish I caught (and snags!). Does the reel perform as well as a $500 Japanese reel? That's not a fair comparison, but no, it's not as smooth. But I'd say it's a solid workhorse and wouldn't mind having a few more. My only "complaint" is that it's developed a slight squeak when reeling. It's barely noticeable. But when it's quiet out (no boat traffic) and calm (no wind) and you're listening to the birds off in the distance, you notice it. It kinda creeps up on you like something in the background that you hardly notice.

How many use straight braid exclusively?
I use Seaguar TactX for flipping and pitching into heavy cover, and also when fishing over thick weeds such as when froggin' I never use leaders.

Stolen boat from BPS
Clearly there's more to the story than what's being presented. I hate stuff like this because people quickly jump to conclusions based upon limited information. Pretending to me a lawyer? Not my bag of tea. Sounds unethical at best.

Einstein was a basshead.
The fun thing about cameras such as the ones on phones is that they automatically adjust to take the best picture: autofocus, auto exposure, auto-zoom, auto color balance, etc. This can and does change the perspective of the objects in the foreground relative to their background and/or surroundings. Pro photographers understand these relationships and use it to their advantage by manually adjusting the settings to take images the human eye can't see. Your first photo has a bright background, the second has a dark background. It also looks to be less bright out. The background is also closer in the second image. All that changes several auto settings, hence - in a sense - the theory of relativity on display. This is also why it's impossible to guess a fish's weight by looking at a photo. I don't play the guessing game for that reason. And I absolutely despise it when somebody says a fish is smaller than claimed simply by looking at a photo.

Q + Q! AMENDED WITH MORE PHOTOS
Outstanding day @ol'crickety ! I'm seriously envious. Days like that are hard to come by, and the ones that make great memories. Congrats on figuring them out. One underpin I recommend is the Gamakatsu underpin https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Gamakatsu_Spring_Lock_Spinner_Swimbait_Hook_1pk/descpage-GMSL.html?from=basres

Prostate cancer survivor. Does that count?- Fishing beaver houses?
As previously mentioned, start way out away from them and work your way in. I start with running a spinnerbait or frog around it to get those aggressive bites first. Then follow up with a Senko (T-rigged), which usually won't fall through the branches. I might pitch a T-rigged Rage Bug around the edges, but rarely through the branches for the reasons you mentioned.- New Video - Choosing the right colors for every condition
I agree! Unfortunately she avoids the camera these days.- Fishing a lake that drowning victims have yet to be recovered.
On several occasions, I've been on lakes where a body was found the same day I was fishing, usually during a tournament where there's a bunch of anglers on the lake at dawn. I've also fished lakes where bodies were found either days before or after the day I fished it. And just last year somebody died from a heart attack while loading his boat at the launch I frequently use. Fortunately I've never found a human body, but I've come across dead animals before. Blech - Any near-death experiences(?)
