Ragu is not Italian: no Italian would use Corn Syrup,Sugar,Xanthan and what ever else in that crap. Another way to charge fisherman 50 bucks for something 5 bucks can take care of : When I change lines I give each reel a shot of REEL MAGIC, keeps em clean longer and adds a little Zip I never use any line treatment as I never had line that got sick, :

If a Crank bait is being heavily used where i fish, I do something to make it different. I mess with the lips and eyes to give it a "non Factory" action and a lot of times, not every time, this was key to getting fish in the boat I keep it simple: all my plugs are ; Crawfish,Bluegill or silver Since I do a lot of nighttime topwater: Black ,including spinner baits All My Jig heads and plastics; Black, green or brown a works for me.

I think I see why we differ, I never use the thin flat ones or the sure sets. I bought a couple of the sure sets and they hung up on everything in my boat, I am clumsy by nature. I really can not call on my experience with these Rapalas because I do not use them I am sure some one like Micro or Stringjam knows more about these I prefer fat cranks in craw fish and blue gill patterns.

Well I have been fishing Rapalas for over 30 years, I currently own 38 , all Balsa and mostly DTs and have broken 2 of them One for slapping against the water and one got caught in a trolling motor. I as many of my friends use these lures successfully and while I can see people getting a bad run, I know an exaggeration when I see one. I would say 30 years of expereince qualifies me to know what I am talking about.

Hey Fellas Ever notice when someone puts up a thread, lets say Brand X reel is making a noise than about 200 other guys, who never had that reel post that yea I have that same noise then by the end of the thread, someone needed an ear surgery because of the noise? Excellent Question! I leave them on, however on some you can get 2 different wobbles out of the same bait by 1. Changing the snap size 2. Changing the split ring size 3 Discarding the split ring altogether basically : a lot of the plugs with split rings , make it easier to attac to with the ring.
