  1. Magic craw/blue craw and summer craw look awesome in the water and catch fish ?
  2. Flukes, once the vegetation starts growing and throwing a hard jerkbait becomes more difficult I really want to spend a lot of time with a fluke tied on. I know they are one of the best bass baits out there and I have 10+ packs of them but I rarely throw them for some reason.
  3. Looks like a real prey swimbait to me
  4. I was really upset when they stopped making the electro survey data public.
  5. First impressions of the agent e? They are at the very top of my list of new baits to try this year
  6. Dude that is AWESOME!!!!! What state do you fish in? That jerkbait has been money for me too ?
  7. Right now if you want confidence in basically any reaction bait I would especially fish the last day of a warming trend before a cold front hits. Usually this means cloudy skies and high winds, the wind has probably been blowing the same direction the days before it and hammering those wind blown banks can get you numbers and good fish, obviously there aren’t a ton of days like this but it really is like a late winter/early spring “cheat code” to bass fishing.
  8. I fish for those 1 or 2 moments a season that will become life long memories, and about 57 other reasons. I like to spend my time in nature and fishing has taken me to some of the most beautiful places that I never would have seen otherwise, having a float tube has helped me get to some amazing places that basically no one else can even get to.
  9. I’ve been hooked and had to coach my dad through the braid trick when I was living at home, fun stuff. Took one of my girlfriends friends out fishing last year and somehow forgot my tackle bag ?‍♂️ had to drive all the way back home and then back to the lake again but ended up having a great afternoon. Also I’m the king of thinking the water is going to be either clear or muddy and being totally wrong and being stuck fishing the wrong baits all day. I’ve since started preparing for both even if I was on the same lake the day before.
  10. I’ve had a lot of luck with a cut down UV speed worm actually.
  11. Recent h20 ultimate catches, caught atleast 20 bass this week on em with five hitting four pounds. Still using stock hooks and rings but I’m fishing them on 8lb mono with a soft tipped rod. These baits glide really far to the side on a hard jerk and that seemed to make all the difference when the water had been warming up for a couple days in a row and the bass were aggressive. It’s kind of crazy that within a few days I “watched” the bass go from winter mode to pre spawn mode and I hope it stays that way after this cold front.
  12. I love the pointers but they are a bit out of that price range, yesterday they really didn’t want the pointer but I caught 10ish bass on an h20 ultimate jerkshad bank fishing a small public lake. Two went over four, one went three, and the rest were smaller, that bait is quickly becoming a confidence bait for me and it’s probably the cheapest jerkbait out there.
  13. Ah so you are a fan of the band phish? I’ve always wondered if any fellow jam lovers existed on this forum ?
  14. That’s great to know, almost bought one at academy the other day and I definitely will the next time I’m there. Got a 4.11 yesterday on a silent pointer 95 from the bank
  15. I’m shocked nobody else said a suspending jerkbait, for me they are THE bigger fish bait October through March. When I have a jerkbait tied on I know in my head that if it passes over a large feeding bass there is a great chance that she eats it.
  16. The big game and XL I’ve bought recently seems to be the same line it was last year and tens years ago. Great lines at a great price.
  17. I’ve seen lightly used slx go for $60 bucks. I have used and abused mine for 3 years, bass fishing, catfish fishing, laying it on the bank in the sand, dunking it under water on accident, I haven’t cleaned it or oiled it and it still works fine. Probably needs a good cleaning though ?
  18. Sounds like jerkbait season to me ?
  19. I have flipped and punched from my float tube, flipping is a blast but I haven’t had much luck punching though so I can’t say forsure. That will change this spring/summer though.
  20. I wish manufacturers would rate the stiffness of the tip as well, you never know until you buy the rod but it seems just as important as the action and power to me.
  21. Have you fished the squadron heads? I have a bunch in GP, you could also buy swimjig heads from siebert outdoors painted any color you want without a weed guard. The skirt collar just acts like an extra bait keeper.
  22. Looks great, Hope you hook a big one today!
  23. This or the berkley fusion swimbait heads
