  1. I read the title and saw who posted it and thought to myself, "Whats new?" But thats just crazy man, great fish. Why don't you bring a few to GA?
  2. I would go with some Yo-Zuri Hybrid. Best line I have ever used by far, just wish I didn't have to drive an hour to Bass Pro to get it, and then find out that the size and color I want are out of stock >. The line is extremely versatile and I have used it anywhere from open water, to rocky points, to flipping thick, heavy grass. Buy a spool and try the stuff.
  3. To say that you have caught the same exact fish in the same exact place every single time you go fishing is pretty ridiculous. I'm pretty sure at one point in its life it would move, and if the fish has been there long enough for it to be classified as a fish you catch "every time you go fishing" then it has definitely been there long enough to grow, and more than long enough to where it would actually move. Fish move. That fish may relate that patch of pads as a place he likes to hang out, but eventually he wouldn't be home while you were fishing, whatever the reason may be.
  4. I think its a little bigger then everyone else has stated. I'd say it hits the 5 lb mark. Nice fish man.
  5. I seriously doubt this to be true. Maybe you catch a fish there every time, but to say you catch the same exact fish every single time you go fishing is kinda of out there.
  6. I'm just saying that some fisheries in Ga are capable of growing fish that big under the right conditions. Nothing about him eating his fish or about Perry keeping his. Almost like a little bit more evidence for the guys that don't believe the record is true.
  7. Kind of makes a 22lber out of Ga sound more believable doesn't it?
  8. x2. Great light stick, really nice to have something so light when your flipping heavy cover all day.
  9. So did you buy 20 for $5? or $5 a piece?
  10. For the money, carrot stix are great rods. I have two and love them, plus they have a no hassle lifetime warranty.
  11. I buy terminator quite often and seem to do well on them. In fact, last tournament I out fished a guy in the front of the boat with a Terminator while he used a War Eagle. I caught 4 on a spinnerbait, he caught 0. But the thing I like most about the spinnerbaits is the name.... WAR d**n EAGLE
  12. I have the 7'6" H for flipping and the 6'9" MH for jigs and love both of them. Their light weight is amazing when your flipping grass all day. I have heard great reports on the cranking model as well. You really can't go wrong with these rods.
  13. Also take a look at Shimano's Curado E5, I love mine.

My roommates Dad did exactly the same thing after my roommate convinced his Dad to change his mind. Bet $2, win $100, not a bad deal if you ask me.
  15. Heres a list of some teams fishing the Northern Division of the FLW. http://collegefishing.com/teams.cfm?tid=6160
  16. I guess you haven't fished with one then. I'm curious to hear your reasoning on this. Are you trying to say they are heavy? Why would you assume that i haven't fished with one!?! If i commented about it than just maybe i have used one and that is why i said what i said!!!!!! I was being sarcastic, implying that you are completely wrong about them being heavy. They may not be the absolute lightest, but they are by no stretch of imagination heavy.

  18. Picks up slack like faster for your jigs and such. Get the reel, you won't regret it.
  19. Looks like the Dancin' Eel has caught yet another fisherman.
  20. Do yourself a favor and buy it. ;D
  21. They don't have it specified on their main rules page, which is weird. http://collegebass.com/rules.aspx thats the link if you don't believe me. You should send Hank Weldon an email to get clarification. And for the southern collegiate send Jann Swaim one as well. But first you would have to start a club as defined by your college. If your college doesn't allow club teams then thats a shame. Etommy, the schedule for next year hasn't been created I don't think. go to www.auburn.edu/bass for info about the southern collegiate and look at the results from this years series.
  22. It doesn't state that it has to be a 4-year college in the college bass set of rules, or southern collegiate series. Did you actually read the rules?
  23. I caught a fish on my first cast ever with one this weekend. Great bait.
  24. Thanks for wishing me luck, unfortunately I didn't have any. My boaters motor locked up about half way to where we wanted to go up river. So we were forced to troll along bluff walls all day. I did manage to get 5 keepers and a few small ones. On the occasional instance we ran into some docks, I caught them on a spinnerbait. On one dock that had a rock pile under it that was in about an 3 inches of water, managed to get a topwater bite swimming a swim senko over it. Also adding to the crappy situation, we fished about 50 yards behind someone all morning, every time a boat would pick up and go, another one would come and set down a little bit in front of us. The day definitely could have gone better.
