I have used KVD and used it a lot. In my opinion it does what it claims and does a good job at it. I spray all of my reels when spooling them up and spray them the night before heading out to fish. Later,

I like Net Bait really well and have been having a little luck with the Rage Tail Chunk as well. Both are excellent in my opinion. I also will throw the YUM Chunks as well, they work very well as does the Yum Money Craw. But I prefer the Net Bait chunks. Later,

I have had very good luck with swim baits so far this year. Just throw it out and retrieve it like a spinner bait or anything else you want to try. I have used swim jigs from KVD, Outkast, etc... they have all worked. So far my favorite trailers have been the single tail grubs from Kinmai and Yamamoto. Later,

Never had any price match problem with my local BPS. They will price match anyone as long you bring in a printed copy of the other stores price. I always compare their on-line prices to the store prices before any purchases, just to make sure I get the best deal I can. Am not found of their bait and switch tactics though. Well I stopped and got some RT Chunks and went to my favorite fishing hole. Fished a jig exclusively today. Started with a GMANN 3/8oz black and blue jig with a black and blue Net Bait Paca Chunk. Fished it for about an hour. Couple small bites nothing major. Switched to the RT Chunk in blue and black and HOLY COW BATMAN!!!! So if they worked this well what would happen with some JJ's Magic. Any type of jig or soft plastic should produce for you. I have had pretty good luck using a jig with a single tail grub swimming it around structure. Also pretty good luck with a Fat Ika. Later,

When throwing the frog poppers what is everybody using for a rod(length/power/action) and what type of line and lbs test? I believe I have 2 rods that could possibly handle this, 1st is a 6' 10"MH/XF with 14lbs fluorocarbon and 2nd is a 7' MH/F with 12lbs Yo-Zuri hybrid. Or should I just switch one of them out to braid? For spinner baits I use War Eagle in 3/8 and 1/2oz. In Watermelon, white/chart, sundance and hot blue herring. Use Kinami Baby bass 3" and 4" single tail grubs on occasion. For jigs, I use GMANN jigs, in 3/8oz in black and blue and peanut butter and jelly as well as watermelon. I use Net Bait Paca Chunks in an assortment of matching and contrasting colors as well as Yum chunks. Hope this helps, Later,

I have my 51MG spooled up with 10lbs Yo-Zuri on a 6' 6" M/F St Croix Avid and use it for top water and jerk baits and have never had any issues with it at all. Maybe you got a bad spool, not sure. Later,

I use to love Power Pro till Wayne P. introduced me to Daiwa Samurai braid. Now I will not even consider using Power Pro anymore. The Samurai braid is so smooth and is just outstanding.
