  12. Over the years I also have snagged many things like fishing poles, beer cans, lots of old line,1 snapping turtle and a 5 #anchor with 50' of line that I still use today! By far the strangest thing caught was by my wife. We were trolling for stripers and she snagged a plano tackle wallet full of Strike King spinner baits!.....All in great shape!

  16. Nice addition I also am fond of labs .....great dogs and even better with kids
  17. Yes Turtle Creek (Merom generating station) This is a cooling lake for an electric power plant and man does it have some nice bass in it. I have fished it many times and it is the home of my personal best and all my largest fish The waters there generally stay above 50 and the closer you get to the plant, the temps will rise close to 70. Usually when you launch its hard to see where you are going for all the steam coming off the water! This place is very particular when it comes to checking in.. Shoot me a pm and I can tell you more.
  18. This is like balaming a fart on the dog, gimme a break Yeah tried that one and now when it really is the dog I still lose! > Hey Muddy what is B A L A M I N G?..... Jist Kiddeng
  19. Hey guys My name is John and I have recently become a non-boater after many years of alum jons v-bottoms and finally stratos 201 f/s. I have enjoyed Lake Lemon, GlenFlint,Raccoon,Cataract,Monroe,Geist,Turtle Creek,Eagle Creek And most in Indiana while fishing in various clubs and tournaments. Nowadays with 4 kids we tend to do alot of creek and pond fishing and are having a blast doing it.I do still have a 14' jon but rarely take it out.(just can't fit everybody in it)
  20. Hence the phrase"catching the fisherman or catching the fish!" I also believe that unless you are fishing Ultra clear waters or extremely shallow, color does not play a HUGE role in catching. JMOH it may be right, it may be wrong But yes we all can get carried away when it comes to making our own. After all there are alot of cool colors out there! ;D
  21. Thanks for the clarification!
