Yamamoto Craw Formula Megastrike
Went to GYCB website and was looking for the craw formula Megastrike. Pulled the product up and the picture shows a original formula tube of Megastrike,no mention of Craw Formula. I already have the original formula Megastrike, how do I know if what I am getting from GYCB is actually the Craw formula, and not the original like the website shows? How does the GYCB Craw formula differ from the original formula Megastrike in fish catching edge? Is there a huge difference. For those that have used both the original and craw formula Megastrike, which do you all prefer?

Double Texas Rig Is Here People.
But,does your tandem t-rig catch fish? Seems like a troublesome setup to throw, sorta like a C-rig.

Broken links in BassResource emails
Find it sorta odd that since having the issue that I wasnt getting my Notifications by email,my Avatar picture disappeared as well.I just reuploaded the Avatar. And changed my settings to send my notification via email. How all this changed is beyond me since I havent edited my profile or havent accessed the user CP in a VERY long time. Its all back to normal now though.

Berkley Realistix Sinking Minnow question
Got a package of 5 baits in the mail today. These appear to be just like a normal stickbait, but you can see the inside of the bait(clear) It looks as though there is a cylinderical weight in the center of the bait. The bait, because of the weight, seems to be pretty stiff, almost like it has a backbone. Has anyone else used these baits? Does this weight setup hinder the way these baits are rigged. Does this weight setup cause problems when setting the hook? Straight from Tackletour.com from ICAST 06 PowerBait Realistix Sinking Minnow: The Berkley PowerBait Realistix Sinking Minnow is their new stick bait, but the company didn't just produce an imitation of the Senko. The Realistix Sinking Minnow is unique in that it features two impregnated non-lead weights inside the plastic. These two weights are strategically places to produce the perfect action when fished. Between the two weights there's a heavy monofilament line that connects the two and serves multiple purposes, one being that when you wacky rig the Minnow it won't tear apart like other stick baits would.

Im checking the box to be notified of replies, lets see if I get an email when someone else posts . I have checked my Junk Email box/spam folder and nothing from Bassresource.com is in there.

You CANNOT be serious
Im gonna take the ISBN of the book and go to my local book store and see what they go for there. Granted theyll have to order it,but it will surely be a more reasonable cost.

Are those bass?
Get yourself an ultralight setup and throw some small spinners. I had the surface of my lake erupt and couldnt figure out what it was,I threw everything in my Tackle bag around where the surfacing was. I trolled a small spinner through the commotion and found it to be Bluegill feeding on the bugs/gnats. In the cooler months it will be Trout,at least in my home lake

Strike King Crankbaits-VERY HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Im keeping all the baits that are affected and will most likely fish em just for grins. Im not a crankbait fisherman, more of a soft plastics type,so maybe if I fish these cranks and catch something, ill be more inclined to throw cranks more often.

Water color question
The lake I fish has water visibility to about 10 ft,after that depth the water is a green color(surface). The lake has a maximum depth of 75-80 ft. My wife was asking my why the water has a green appearance to it,even out in the middle where the water is 60+ feet deep. I dont have a good answer, hope someone could help me with this question.

Chartreuse colored baits
I know Chartreuse has its time and place(murky, stained water) Even with that being the case, does anyone ever throw a Charteuse soft plastic for the heck of it on bright days in clear water with success?

Strike King Crankbaits-VERY HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was concerned that I would get a big runaround with SK,but I took a shot, emailed em about the issue and sent pics. No questions asked, you saw their response. Top notch service. I also have some Cotton Cordell Spots that have a distortion /denting issue.I wrote them as well. I got an email back and they want me to send them the lures in question for inspection(on my dime) and they would gladly replace them. A few minutes later I got an email from the same guy that said they will look into "maybe" replacing these baits. First Email: Hello chris, I have never heard of this happening before, if you will send these baits to us for inspection I will be gladly to replace them. Second Email: If you would send these back to us we will look at maybe replacing these. I have never seen this happen before..Thank you So im on the fence with the Pradco lineup. Do I send them back and look at "Possibly" having these replaced? If they choose not to replace them, then im out postage on sending the baits in and im sure they would keep the baits.

Strike King Crankbaits-VERY HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I went ahead and emailed them a letter: To whom it may concern, I have purchased a few of Strike Kings crankbaits, and although I have never used them,I cannot say im happy with these baits. After Purchase,I took them out of the package and put them in Plano organizer boxes. Ive never tied them on or fished them, theyve never seen water. Theyve been in the organizer for about 6 months. I looked at them today and one your series 6 Crankbaits is starting to split at the seams, and your Sexy Shad Red Eye baits have swelled up and distorted. At $5 a bait,I would expect a better, more durable bait. My SK Diamond Shad baits and Excalibur Rattle baits were in the same Plano Organizer and are absolutely fine,no swelling, splitting or distortion. Pictures of the baits in question are enclosed. Is there some sort of resolution we can reach in this issue. Thank You, Chris XXXX (520)249-XXXX Hopefully that will be enough to resolve the issue. Lesson learned,SK Cranks arent very durable.

Strike King Crankbaits-VERY HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So today Im going through my Plano boxes and I discover something that REALLY ticks me off. All my SK Sexy Shad Redeye Shad Baits and a SK Series 6 have series flaws in them. Flaws, well I really dont know how else to put it. They were taken out of the package, and put in the Plano box. Havent touched em since.I normally dont fish crankbaits, but bring em along "just in case" The Redeye Shad baits have gotten "Pregnant" and totally swelled up and distorted. The series 6 Crank is starting to split at the seam. I havent even had a chance to use these yet,Theyve NEVER been tied on and have NEVER been in the water.Just on the boat,in the Plano boxes Is this an issue I can pitch to Strike King with hope of a successful resolution?? At almost $5 per bait id expect better. The Excalibur Rattle Baits and Strike King Diamond Shad baits I had in the same box didnt have anything like this occur and are perfectly fine. Has anyone else had a similar issue? If this happened to any of you all,how would you all handle it?

ESPN Pulling out of BASS
Ive only caught that show a couple of times and cant say I can really stomach it. Locally theres a show on FSN(Fox Sports Network) called "Fishing with Johnny Johnson". Show is ok,but the laugh of this guy is as bad as,if not worse than Jimmy Houstons. The Most annoying laugh at 12:53. I know the guy is excited but C'MON!!!
