  1. I also love BPS but ours is about 1 1/2hrs away so don't go to often, usually about 4-5 times a year. But I do order online from em as well as Tackle Warehouse. I also like Walmart for the basic things like trick worms, horny toads, some jigs, fat free shads and such. And once in a blue moon I'll head over to Academy, not my favorite store but have found some deals on plastics there before!
  2. I've fished in winds up to about 30mph gusts. as for waves the biggest havent come from the wind/weather but from other boats, I've had deck boats come by and when on top of the wave the T-motor comes out of the water and when you go down the waves come over the front deck with me. Not fun! >
  3. In the fall my primary lures are crankbaits and spinnerbaits.
  4. I've probably gotten away from the jig the most recently.
  5. I fish stained lakes and really like the watermelon seed color!
  6. I'll use em for panfish, but when it comes to bass hooks there junk! The EWGs straighten very easily and lose there sharpness in no time flat! any kind of hang up bends the point of the hook. Gammy user for life!!
  7. Bottom Jigs: http://www.***.com/descpageTRLZOOM-ZBSC.html http://www.***.com/descpageSFTSTRIKETRLRSTRIKE-SXDC.html I also like the bottom half of a baby brush hog when I want more action. Swimmin jigs: http://www.***.com/descpageTRLZOOM-ZSWIMC.html#pImage Never use trailers on my spinnerbaits.
  8. My #1 square bill crank is a Bandit 100 also planning on picking up some Spro little johns next time I'm at BPS, They look like some awesome little cranks!
  9. Zoom, Yum, Bomber, Bandit, Booyah, Gamakatsu, and some lures from Strike king as long as it doesn't have a skirt on it.
  10. Thanks! Great site!
  11. Looking for any tips for tying simple crappie jigs. Ordered the material today, want to make some bucktail jigs aswell as some marabou jigs. Thanks for any advice!
  12. Hands down a Zoom Trick worm T-rigged!
  13. 5 but that was Largemouth, Hybrids, and white bass all mixed in together. this was off of our dock at night with a crankbait. all three of these species stack up upunder our dock light and right when they start pulling water, they go into a feeding frenzy, Its a BLAST! ;D ;D But if were only counting LM then it would be 2.
  14. I was able to contain my self better then I expected XPS pro series minnow XPS rattle shad Bomber Fat Free Fry Spro Bronzeye Pop frog Stacey King flippin jig Zoom Chunks Zoom Trick Worms YUM wooly bug Lazer Eye Spinnerbait Strike King bleeding buzzbait Sinker stops Trailor hooks and played with some of the reels (Man that new Quantum TE PT is SWEET!!!!!)
  15. I really like fishing high/rising water! Getting up there shallow pitching/flippin in bushes and such! ;D Second favorite would be fishing docks (probably because they always seem to produce!) ;D
  16. I baught a TE reel when they went on sale last year and I love it! I would love to have one of the new TE's or Energys but a little steep for my budget right now! :'( I got a Citica E for Christmas and its a great reel too. so I dont think you could go wrong with either! (but the new Quantums look cooler!) ;D
  17. Yep, one of my favorites! I first started watching it during the last season and the first few show I would wonder then I did some checking online and found out he was Rolands son, Pretty cool! I also really liked that episode he did with his boys!
  18. Green pumpkin/green flake Zoom Trick worm T-rigged with a 1/4oz weight. Caught her last April around a dock in 2 fow. She was partially spawned out, and weighed 7lbs 2oz. She was realesed to fight another day! ;D
  19. I have a Citica E and its a great reel! But I love the PQ rods and I think for my next purchase Im gunna go with the PQ combo which is like getting the PQ reel for $50. But If I wasnt getting a PQ rod I might go with the citica because its probably a little better built and its 1oz lighter.
  20. Havent used one yet but saw a picture of one paired up with the new Tour Edition in Bassmaster and that is one of the sweetest lookin set ups I've seen!
  21. I picked one up when they first went on sale and its a awsome reel!! a bit big and heavy compared to the new reels, but still a great reel!
  22. Hopefully the combos will be on sale if not I may wait until they are. I have a Citica E and LOVE it. but if I get a Citica and a PQ rod that would be $260 where as I can get the PQ combo for $190 or less if I can get it on sale
  23. I use 17lb for my jig/worm fishing and I really like it! If you can spend the extra $$ BPS XPS fluoro is a great line with less memory. But for my money I choose Vicious! Also KVD line and lure does help with memory but Vicious still retains some of its memory.
  24. Thanks guys! Sounds like its a good reel. Im hoping they will have the combo on sale at the Spring Classic!
