    Welcome!
  4. I personally would not fish an area like that mentioned unless I was not having any luck anywhere. I feel more comfortable fishing structure rather than space. X2 Yes it would work for LG if they were there.
  5. Clunn ran an aluminum Tracker in the Elite 50 at Lake Wissota a few years ago. Ran up the river past where everyone else could go. Didn't pan out for him though.
  6. They did it live a few years ago. Probably cost too much.
  7. Hope he pulls a paul elias out of the bag this year, and KVD in second.
  8. I have used them, in the past. Not worth the money. Line twisting little #$%#$%^
  9. redtail, pod of bait looks like a "cloud" under the surface. I use the depth of activity spotted enroute to start my search also. Gives me a starting point and then factor in time of year, temp, clarity,etc... There are so many variables involved. The activity level is a good starting point but not a rule of thumb.
  10. I only need one thing from the big stores, RC cranks. And I order those on line. I would rather give my business to the smaller guy. We have a great place here in IN. and that is where I go. He has the stuff you need. If he ain't got it, you don't need it!
  11. It is in IN. North/west of clarksville. Out interstate 64 west to 37 turn north. Probably 35 miles. Awesome lake!

  14. Welcome Hawkeye!! I'm a Hawkeye also although I live in IN. Born and raised there so Hawk blood in my veins no matter where I am.
  15. got mine but don't care for it. They way they restructured the lure section doesn't strike my fancy. If I want to look at Zoom products, I turn to that page, not 6 pages of the stuff all mixed up. I guess there is good and bad now that I think about it. All the craws are together, lizards, etc. just take some getting use to I guess.
  16. Really depends on the boat. Bass boat, load it up. Semi "V", 6 or so. Canoe, 2 or 3. The last thing you want to do is be cramped for space and crunch one of your rods.
  17. X2 X3. Northern guys wait for the ice to come off and then it's game on!!!
  18. Bearsbaits. He is starting this business and has all the supplies you need to pour soft plastics. Has great customer service and a forum to ask your building questions too. www.bearsbaits.com

  21. I use a 5/0 or 6/0 gama ewg. Tweak the point a couple of degrees off of the straight line and skin hook it. Haven't had any more problems that with any other hook I've tried.
