What baits are catching you fish this year?
This has been my best fishing year OF MY LIFE!!! I discovered Rage Tails this year. Coincidence? I don't think so.

A Shoutout for NH Fishermen!!!
Since we're on the subject of NH doing well... Last Monday I caught a 7lb even Largemouth on a 10" Anaconda. One oz shy of my personal best of 7lb 1oz, caught about 6 weeks ago. Never have I caught the fish that I have this year, size and numbers. I cant get enough!

GRASS
Good stuff, CATT. Some of my most productive fishing is done on those inside grass lines early in the morning, right before day break. It's mostly Milfoil for me, but the bass seem to love to hang out under the stuff, and come out into the openings to grab what I'm offering (usually a Rage Shad or Toad)

Night Fishing Question
Just use your navigation lights while running (keep it slow and use a spotlight), and use the anchor option (all around white light in the back)on your dash for while you fish. Should be a fun, peaceful time, I do it all the time on familiar ponds... great fishing!

Gonna See What The Rage Is All About!!!
My only toad is the Rage toad. Do this, though. Rig it on a 5/0 or 6/0 light 1/16oz keel weight hook. Also, if you can find 1/16oz Twistlock Owners, those are the best. Enjoy, man, the bass kill this thing when you work it through the heavy pads and stuff, pausing to let it work it's way down into the holes.

Before Daylight Tackle
Definitely my favorite time to fish, and do it all the time. The best thing I've found, is a black neon Rage Shad on a 5/0 superline Gammy. Since you can't see exactly what you're throwing into, it doesn't matter. You can work it through everything, and it just SLAYS the bass for me between 4:00am and 5:30am. Dont forget a flashlight (I prefer the one you wear on your head with red LED's), and BUG SPRAY!

Favorite Solid Body Frog/Toad bait.
My favorite by far, and the only toad I use, Is the Rage Toad, and just as CWB said, Green/white on a 1/16 5/0 superline Gammy. Perfect!

Anyone have any luck in SOUTHERN NH yet?
I didn't try any cranks, and I probably should have, because I was seeing fish around 10'-20', but I pretty much like using plastics most of the time. I did try a wacky rigged GP Senko, because my wife left her rod in my boat, and it was already rigged, but nothing. I'm gonna hit it again on Monday, and I'm gonna try a little variety of things if I have to.

Anyone have any luck in SOUTHERN NH yet?
Yeah, as I said, got out to Massebesic yesterday and got one 3 1/2 lb Largemouth on a Rage Shad, and a 1 1/2 lb smallie on a C rigged Rage Lizard. I got out there at 4:30am, and it was dead calm, with a full moon, so I expected more from the topwater bite than 1 bass, but it was a great morning and day to be out there on the water.

Gunk
Although I agree with the Rage Shad, I'd also try a Green Pumpkin Rage Anacaonda rigged Tx, weightless on a 1/16oz keel weighted 3/0 Owner twistlock. All set with that rig, just dip it in Chart. JJ's, and slather in Megastrike! Bounce that baby real slow across the bottom, and report the 7.5lber you catch out of there back to us!

Fishin' Been Slow... Need advice.
Today, when the bite got tough, I ended up finding the fish under thick patches of pads with a Rage Toad, witch is weird for this place. Usually they go deep and you have to get 'em with a C Rig, but today when I was about to throw in the towel waiting for another boat to launch, I said "what the heck", and tossed the toad, and BAM, discovered what was goin on!

Back to the Space Monkey
Nice!!! Way to get on 'em, man. Gotta love those Rage Tails, for sure! I've had a lot of luck with a keel weighted space Monkey or Lobster in that kind of stuff. The bass just can't ignore it!

Anyone have any luck in SOUTHERN NH yet?
Hey guys, got a question for ya. Thuresday I'm headin' over to Massebesic early, like around 4:00am, in hopes of being on a spot by 5:00. Anyone have any advice about what's been good there lately? I've had great success there in the past, but mainly early spring, like pre-spawn ish. I'll be launching off Rt 121 in Auburn. Also, if anyone wants to join me, I'll have an open seat on my Nitro until about 10:00.

What lures/techniques for fishing Hydrilla/Milfoil?
I would try a Rage Shad over the top of it, or a Rage Anaconda fished weightless. When t rigged weedless, the Anaconda can easily slip through some nasty stuff, and it's DEADLY!!!

Guages acting funny
Ok, I will check my ground connections tomorrow, and do the terminals like you guys said. It's just weird because it was just acting up all of a sudden. But very good suggestions, and very much appreciated. Thank you.

Guages acting funny
Actually, it's not very funny at all. My tach is not doing a thing, and my trim guage is way off, and jumping around every time I use the trim at all. It'll tell me I'm trimmed up, when I'm actually half way down, or whatever random reading it feels like. Never had a problem like this, and taking it in to be looked at is not an option right now, so any help or suggestions would be appreciated. By the way, the boat is a '95 Nitro, with the 115 Merc. Thanks

Propeller questions
The bad news is, is that it will most certainly affect the performance of your prop and boat. The good news is that it sounds to me like you are running an aluminum prop, and they are cheap enough in relation stainless props. Your prop is probably a 13 1/2- 14 rake (first # on prop), and somewhere between a 19 to 21 pitch (second # on prop). Look for a stamp on the hard rubber ring around the inside of your prop. It'll look like this: 13 1/2 x 21. If you want more performance while you are replacing it anyway, you could always step it up to a 4 blade stainless prop (I actually have one for sale in the flea market!) Good luck, and let us know how you make out.

your favorite big fish bait.
Jig with a Rage Tail Baby Craw, or 10" Anaconda at night!

Anyone have any luck in SOUTHERN NH yet?
Had a little luck this weekend, too. I camped and fished on Turkey pond in Concord, and Sunday morning I was on a bunch of bass, including a couple 2 1/2 lbers, and 2 around 4 lbs. The big ones came at 5 am on a Rage Tail shad, black neon. I haven't been throwing my old comfort bait, the green pumpkin Senko, but replaced it with a double header Anaconda, dipped in JJ's Majic (chart), and the bass went nuts for me this weekend. Also had my first run in ever with Fish and Game, but all is good with the Nitro, so a couple of nice guys. Glad to hear you all are havin' some luck around here, too.

2/3 Acre Pond
Wow, you're not playin'!! Good luck with the project, and I can't wait to hear how it turns out.

scratch on gel coat
Alright, will do. I'm sure my wife has some clear polish somewhere. Thanks, Cart.

scratch on gel coat
Hey, if that works, I'll run with that. The good news, is that the boat is black, and I happen to have plenty of black Sharpies! Thanks for the tip.

scratch on gel coat
Hey, folks. I was changing my trolling motor on my bass boat, and when I got the thing free, it slipped off the mount, and laid an ugly scratch across my bow. Not that bad, but on an otherwise perfect gel coat finish, I would really like it to go away. Any suggestions? I waxed it like a maniac, and it took care of it some, but it's still there. Thanks all.
