  1. Man, I seriously hear you on that NH milfoil problem. I'm also from NH, and frequently fish smaller ponds, where the stuff is 12 feet deep. What pond are you referring to, anyway? As for your problem at that spot, it's gonna be tough for a couple years there I think. I used to fish a chocked out spot and just slayed the bass until they treated it, then like you said... nothin' to speak of. I hear that when they do that, it really messes with the fish as well.
  2. Dude, you're gonna love the Mojo! Nice rods.
  3. What's goin on, South NH people! Anyone been fishing around the Concord area lately? Like Turkey, Turtletown, Hoit Rd Marsh, or even the Merrimack River? With the exception of the past week or so, I've been killin' em on Turtletown, and I'm hittin' Turkey on Friday and the river on Saturday. Anyway, hope everyone's crushin' em out there.
  4. Lately, due to water temps, my best bass have come on a Carolina rigged Rage lizard, but then again, I never stopped catching them on Anacondas, either.
  5. Hmmm.... If I had to live with only 2 Rage Tail baits, I'd choose black neon Shads, and Green Pumpkin Anacondas.
  6. I was going to say exactly what Dink Whisperer said about the C rigged lizard. I have a local pond that is easy to launch my boat and have fished it for a couple years now, and really only ever caught 1 1/2-2 pounders by working the shallows, however, I recently discovered how to find them deep. This pond only gets to about 16', so "deep" has been 12-15'. Carolina rig a Rage Tail Lizard, and I would bet money you will get bit by bigger fish than ever before. I now regularly pull 4 pound bass from this place, and I'm sure you will too.
  7. I fish some similar condition ponds, and for spinnerbaits, I would suggest white/chartreuse, with at least one large Colorado blade, and for cranks, something fat with a wide wobble.
  8. I had that motor on my last (first) bassboat. My boat was older, and pretty likely heavier, but with me 'n another guy, the motor was good for around 42-46mph. By the way, I believe the NADA weight you referred to is boat only. Enjoy the experience, my friend.
  9. Yup, it is that time again. I agree, the Cavitron is a great buzzbait, I have quite a few of 'em. Thing is, I haven't tied on ANY buzzbait since I discovered the Rage shad. I like the black neon color best, and it doesn't even matter time of day or night with that bait... it's a killer topwater alternative! I now get more top water blow ups than ever.
  10. I fish a small local pond that sounds very similar to what you describe, and I have unlocked it's magic by doing exactly what someone else just suggested with the Senko, except I substitute the Senko for a Rage Tail Anaconda Texas Rigged weightless. Hit the heavy pads, drag it along to a hole, or the edge, and just let it go down. Seems the bass can't ignore it that way.
  11. Nice fish, bro! Oh, and nice Rage hat!!
  12. Yup, they sure do. In those conditions, my top producers have been big, juicy plastics, like the Rage Tail Lobster, space Monkey, or Craw, either on a jig or keel weighted, worked along the edges of deep structure. Happy fishing!
  13. I'm right above you in NH, and you can have 2 lines in, but the problem is, is that every time I try to do it, it seems I get hit on both, and have to hand one off to a buddy. Since you'll be by yourself, good luck with the doubles!
  14. Yup, Rage Tail all the way!! The action is AMAZING!!! In fact, I don't know what I'm gonna do with all the other bags of assorted frogs I bought over the winter.
  15. That does look like paradise to me. Cool pics, man.
  16. That's what I was thinking. Besides, isn't it cool to take on the toughest of conditions to challenge yourself? I'll fish any type of senario in an attempt to better my skills. Go for it, bro. Make us proud.
  17. Try a jig or a shakey head worm.
  18. I am a certified Rage-a-holic, and they are my go-to plastics. I have no less than 50 bags in every style available, and I love them all!! RAGE ON!
  19. Nice fish. Those Rage Tail Toads are awesome!
  20. Thanks for all the input. I brought it to the shop, and it's officially a bad stator. I'll be back in business by next weekend.
  21. Well, I tried to jump it and that didn't work, and I couldn't get the remote control box fully apart to check the kill switch wires, so still nothing.
  22. Ok, the killswitch is in the run position, but I'm going out right now to see if I can check the wires out. As far as the battery goes, I was trying to start it with the on board charger plugged in here at the house before I left, and still nothin'.
  23. I have a '95 Mercury 115 (very low hours), that all of a sudden has no spark. I know it's getting gas, put in new plugs, and the safety stop switch is not in the off position, yet it cranks like crazy and wont fire. Please help with any suggestions before I have to spend money!! Thanks
  24. Yeah, me too. I'd love a shirt and a hat, and would buy both to support the site.
  25. Largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, black bass, spotted bass...
