Good job out there, Wagn! Nice fish!

A question on lizards
During the summer, when the fish moved out deeper after the shallow bite slowed in the morning, I would have a lizard on a Carolina rig ready to go, and it almost always produced fish for me.

A Shoutout for NH Fishermen!!!
Nice fish, UNH! That looks like a pretty cool little rig you're fishing out of there.

Fishing goals
Going into this season, I wanted to work on jig fishing (I had never caught one on a jig), and using the Carolina rig. I can say now that those two methods are two of my top producers of nice quality bass. Now... on to that state record!

Need some tips getting them to bite!
I love ponds like this, and my best luck has come on a Rage Shad or Toad, weightless. Run 'em right through the stuff, and stop when you get to a hole and let it sink a little, then begin a slow retrieve, and I would bet that will get you bit!

Hi from the east coast.
Welcome to the most informative bass fishing website on the web! You're gonna love it here.

where are you catching your fish?
Been just the opposite for me. I'm having a harder time on the bigger lakes, and killin' 'em in small ponds near the shore with a top water bait ( Rage Shad). Then again, I spend most of my time on smaller ponds anyway.

trailer color for this jig.
Nice, Catt, that's the one that will be on my jig!

Crazy invite, crazy night!
Nice job, Simp! Sounds to me like you out fished him AND out classed him!

Late Season Bass Tactics
This past Thursday and Friday were 2 of my best days fishing so far this year, including my new PB. The topwater action has been incredible, but it was a shallow pond, also, so like Glenn said cranks and spinners will definitely continue to catch you fish. I think this fall transition period is very exciting!

Tiny New Pond, New PB
I hear ya, skillet! Now this place is getting the majority of my fishing attention, and my bass boat is getting lonely (jealous of the jon boat I think).

Tiny New Pond, New PB
Thank you. It was definitely a lot of fun! I was fishing out of my jon boat, and this girl turned me around in circles, and pulled me about 30 yards!

Anyone have any luck in SOUTHERN NH yet?
Good to see you guys are still on 'em representin' the NH !! Just this morning at 5:00am, I broke my PB again, by catching a 7-10 on a little 4 acre secret hole someone shared with me. I put a post on "my tournament or outing". Rage Tail Shad (green pumpkin/chartreuse). This bait is killer, and it also landed me 15 other nice bass between 2 and 4 lbs. in 5 hours today. Keep it up, everyone, and good luck! http://i801.photobucket.com/albums/yy299/halla091804/fish/ShanePB5.jpg

Tiny New Pond, New PB
A friend of mine told me about this little pond (4 acres or so) behind his house that nobody fishes, that some old timer told him held big bass. He wasn't kiddin'!! I hit it yesterday, and caught 14 nice bass, including a 4-15, and a 4-4, plus a bunch around the 2 1/2- 3lb range. Today I went back out, and caught 16 bass, including my new PB, a hefty 7 lb, 10 oz honey I named "Baby". Both days, all fish were caught on Rage Tail baits, including the new Eeliminator and Thumper Worm, but the majority (including my PB fish), were all caught on the Rage Shad. The bass were mostly all holding very close to shore. Incredible pond, and is my new favorite secret spot! The pics were taken at 5:00am, so they're a little dark, but you get the idea! http://i801.photobucket.com/albums/yy299/halla091804/fish/ShanePB5.jpg http://i801.photobucket.com/albums/yy299/halla091804/fish/ShanePB4.jpg

Hello from No. Virginia
What's up, No Va! Just today I fished with a friend from Dale City, and I'm sure you can get a lot of help with that pesky Potomac from the members here. Good luck, and welcome aboard!

Suggesetions for fishing locations in NH/ME
I would check out Lake Winnepesaukee in NH. Some of the best smallmouth bass in the country(LM too), and a million places to rent for a day or a week, or whatever. You can do just about anything you could imagine around there, too, as it is a major tourist type area. A lot of fun!

Shakey head worm?
Rage Tail Lizard. I know it's not a worm, but give it a shot!

Anyone have any luck in SOUTHERN NH yet?
Ron, of course I'll go with ya! I'll bring you to "the Lunker Spot". I'll shoot you a PM over on the Rage forum.

Soft Plastics
I used to use Senkos every time I hit the the water. This year, I have only tossed one once. RAGE TAILS, baby!! All the way!!
-
Help!
Get the Rage Tails! I fish a billion small ponds, and that's all I use now, and this has been my best year of fishing EVER!!! I don't know what I would do without my Rage Shads and Anacondas!

Looking for a tough boat?
Man, that was hilarious!
