  1. Actually, everything you mentioned will catch fish at different times throughout the day.
  2. I also use a MH fast rod for my Rage Toad'n, but I stick with a 7 footer.
  3. Thank you for what you are doing!! Great to hear you are getting to do some relaxing fishing.
  4. I know! I'll be watching every one of those shows. He had a tough day out there, though.
  5. He did cover a lot of good topics. He's very free flowing with his knowledge, and is such a good spokesperson for Strike King and his other sponsors.
  6. Right on, ninja. Those Sexy Shad spinnerbaits are killer.
  7. Nice. Good stuff, and nice fish.
  8. I like it, ace. "Fishing Fitness with Glenn". It's got potential.
  9. Nope, don't fish them any differently. I usually go for the 10 inchers in lower light conditions, but they work all the time. You'll be surprised how many small fish eat those huge worms, though, so just don't expect to only catch bigger ones.
  10. Yeah, we re-used the stock drag star after some machining and polishing.
  11. I know what you're talking about. Sometimes I get that after fishing all day, especially if I make sweet love to my wife the night before, then fish all day, I come home feeling like an old man!
  12. I can get pretty good distance with stuff in the 1/8th oz range, but it can launch 1/4 oz into orbit! The one thing I didn't do, is go with the Hyper Long Cast Spool, which would have made the lightest stuff even easier, but I'm happy with it as it is. Ps- I should've mentioned it's spooled with 40lb Samurai Braid. Friggin' awesome!
  13. The Tatsu will be my next line purchase. I've been wanting to try it out, heard real good stuff about it.
  14. Hey, thanks, Russ, and yes, your work on your Fuego inspired me to do mine. I was happy with it already, but the supertuning with Orange seals, the Smoooth drag, and the 4 bearing Zillion handle all come together to make it my favorite reel. Paired up with a 7' med action Avid, and it's a pretty sweet combo. I like your new one, too!
  15. Oh yeah, you will. Nice reels.
  16. Come West on Rt4, and we could meet up at Northwood Lake sometime.
  17. That Baby Craw split shot rig is spot on. Also try an Eeliminator on the same rig. Other than that, football jigs with a Rage Craw or Baby Craw trailer are all I need for river smallies.
  18. Great job, and that's gotta be a 4+.
  19. Mattlures or a big swim jig.
  20. Do you live in Durham?
  21. I hate when that happens.
  22. I think bass eat more bait fish than craws over the course of the year as a whole.
  23. Alright, Derek. I look forward to another outing when it warms up. I usually bring my boat out first, so maybe I can get ya out on the Nitro for some smallies in the Merrimack while we wait for the rest of the water to thaw in March. Later, bro.
