He served his time and lost basically everything he ever had. I say his sentence is up and if the NFL (a private organization) wants to hire him then I hope does well. I'll enjoy watching him play once again even if the rest of you don't.

I thought they were decent enough reels. I just didn't like the feel of them. I've been using Quantums for years and I just like the feel of them.

You have no idea how right you are. It was just a matter of days before I put the Fleuger on here for a trade for a Quantum. The BPS reel was going to be sold to help pay for another spinning combo also.

I get the stupid award for the day. I was out this past weekend fishing and when I returned home and cleaned the boat out I always lean my poles against the house and take them in a couple at a time. Well, I took my tackle in first and then 3 combos I had with me and left 2 of them leaning against the house. I just went in to respool a reel and saw the two missing from the rod holders and remembered leaving them there. Needless to say when I went out to look for them they are missing! Someone must have made off with such an easy target! :-[ Someone has a nice Fleuger and a BPS baitcasting combos in their possession now. I hate thieves but I blame myself for this one also. Sorry scoundrels better hope I don't catch them around the house again!

I've been there a couple of times. You have a BassPro right next to the interstate. It's one of the nicest ones I've been in. There are several lakes within a short drive of there. I've never fished any of them but they sure do look like some fishy places.

This time of year you should be catching bucketloads of smallies on the river. The majority of the time I use a weightless white fluke on them in the hot summer months. Also try using small plastics. You should have a great time out there.

Another thought. Stay away from Dodges if you don't want tranny problems.

I'm a Ford loving guy but the Explorers are junk! You can have the same mpg's if you bought an Expedition and you won't have anything to worry about. I've got a 00 Expedition with the 4.6 and it tows the boat with ease and I get right at 18mpg on the interstate and 15 in all around driving. Stay away from the Chevys, only wierdos drive 'em.

I know what it's like to want to give up. I've got a 3.89GPA right now with only 18 credits left. I've never gotten less than a very high "B" and It looks like I'm gonna get a solid "C" in philosophy this semester unless the exam I took today is better than I'm expecting it to be. BTW, I've got to rant. Philosophy is the most worthless, POS class I've taken to date. What the crap?! It's like they try to force you to think the way they want. I know most of it is that I'm already set in my ways but they should use a little common sense instead of the freakin' "what if's"!!!!

You need to take a weekend and make the 3 1/2 hour ride over here in the valley to fish the rivers for smallies. I seldom take the boat out in the summer but just about every weekend I'm wading in the Shenandoah, Maury or one of their tributaries. It's nothing to catch 100 bass per day and you have 75* water rushing over your legs the whole time. I'm telling you, it gets no better than this. BTW, hotels are CHEAP here in the valley too.

I don't know who he'll end up with but I hope he stays straight. Being a VT fan I watched him play there many times and he's got some crazy talent that someone should take advantage of.

You got some great pics! Makes it even more exciting doesn't it?! My wife had them done when she was pregnant with our son but we weren't lucky enough to have him in the right spot. We did get to see him sucking his thumb a little though.

I also recommend dryer sheets. I used to do a lot of catfishing at night and we would put a drier sheet inside our hats and it would keep them away from your face.

Just make sure you don't start growing a little curly tail and you will be just fine. Seriously though, hope you feel better. I just battled through flu symptoms for the last week or so. I didn't go get it checked though. I figure if it gets to the point I call in to work then I "might" go to the doctor.

I totally disagree. Put him behind a weak front line where he has to hurry or give him only average recievers and he's just another name in the book. His team, on the other hand, plays the game about as well as it can be played....with his help of course. I'm not trying to downplay him totally but there is not a football team in existence that is a true "one man show".
