  1. Bryan Kerchal was one of my inspirations for getting into fishing as a teenager. Sure is a shame it had to end so early. KVD Brian Snowden
  2. Nice! I didn't realize G3 made a rig that size. I always thought they were just in the 16-18' boats.
  3. I doubt you have too much of a leg to stand on. If it was working when you picked it up he could just say you did something to it again. It's really hard to prove anything when it comes to vehicle repair. What kind of vehicle is it and exactly what is it doing?
  4. I thought that bridge looked pretty low! The catfishing through there is great! We always used live perch and caught many 6-15lb cats and about every other trip we'd catch 20+ pounders. My biggest cat came from there and it weighed just over 40lbs! The only thing we caught were flatheads. If you ever need a partner on the river I live about 45 minutes from there so just give me a yell.
  5. I used to catfish with my cousin on the upper James but never bass fished it. We always put in at the next ramp. How hard is it to get a boat under the bridge? Is it taller than it looks?
  6. Old Spice- pure sport I recently picked up one of the soft gels and it's much better than the stick.
  7. sqhertz, do whatever you can to get into another job. I can tell you by experience that lifting your whole life will get you nothing but hurt. I spent 7 years in a Target distribution center before I finally said enough is enough. I had to take time off every few months because of my back. I've been gone for a little over 4 years and (knock on wood) I haven't taken another day off work because of my back. Good luck. You're young and something will come along.
  8. I have family in Chesapeake and we visit several times per year. I've never fished the bay but I can tell you that there are many places down there that have fantastic bass fishing. Just do a seach on VADGIF website and they list all the major ones. We also fish several of the many ponds, pits and canals.
  9. Thieves suck!!! I say just shoot 'em on the spot!
  10. Perfect definition!
  11. I wonder what the idiots say about you ? Honestly, I don't really care.
  12. I like their stuff although I haven't listed to any rock in probably 3-4 months. My wife and I like pretty much all kinds of music and we just kind of rotate different kinds every once in a while.
  13. I'd love to find som fishing flea markets but there is no such luck around here.
  14. I work in our countys public school system. I'm also in preventive maintenance and I have to supervise the custodial staff (bunch of friggin idiots!) I've been there for about 2 1/2 years and I'm dying to leave! I'm currently working on my degree in criminal justice and if nothing changes I'll be working in our regional jail on May 1st.
  15. I owned one Chrysler product and will never make that mistake again!!! The stupid things will nickle and dime you to death!
  16. Virginia Good- if you want civil war history then this is the place to come. You're bordered by the mountains and the Atlantic making the state a very beautiful place to live Bad- Anything in the eastern side of the state because it will include stupid amounts of traffic! Too cold in the winter and too much humidity in the summer!
  17. I can safely say I don't think I've ever lost more than 10-15 dollars worth in lure. As someone else stated, if my whole tacklebox went over I doubt I'd be out much more than a couple hundred bucks.
  18. We've got a dusting here and and it's all wind driven snow. SUCKS!!!
  19. When I get to the river for smallie fishing this time of year I usually have decent luck on Strike King Bitsy Bug jigs. It seems like the brown colors work best.
  20. I try to give a welcome to some of the folks that are new. Nothing against others but I like to try to welcome all those in my state or surrounding areas. I figure it may give them a heads up on who all is in their area. There are just too many to respond to every new person.
  21. I'm a huge Fluke fisherman. I was fishing a tournament on Lake Anna a couple years back and couldn't buy a bite on anything including the fluke. I watched a couple bass chase the fluke but couldn't entice them to bite it. I just happened to have a few fluke jr's in my bag from a recent smallie trip on a river so I put one on at about 1pm with the tourney ending at 3pm. I finished with a limit and ended up culling several fish! I actually made the money that day too!
  22. R/W, that was one awesome story. I knew what the ending was gonna be when it started but you made it very enthralling. I've only been on here a few months but I can tell you are after that fish again. You'll get her!
  23. Tractor Supply Company has trailer tires about as cheap as they get.
  24. Oh my goodness, we need to get together and ride around and do this to people. I'd be right with you on it!
  25. Every time I come down to NC to visit my wifes relatives her uncle and I always end up fishing some ponds. He absolutely kills me using a pumpkin colored brush hog just fishing it texas style in these ponds. I have NEVER had any luck with them either.
