Jokes - Let's Have Some Fun
A man wakes up in the hospital bandaged from head to foot. The doctor comes in and says, "Ah, I see you've regained consciousness. Now you probably won't remember, but you were in a huge pile-up on the freeway. You're going to be okay. You'll walk again and everything. However, your thingy was severed in the accident, and we couldn't find it." The man groans, but the doctor goes on. "You have $9,000 in insurance compensation coming, and we now have the technology to build a new thingy. They work great but don't come cheap. It's roughly $1000 an inch." The man perks up. So," the doctor says, "You must decide how many inches you want. But I understand that you have been married for over thirty years and this is something you should discuss with your wife. If you had a five-incher before and get a nine-incher now she might be a bit put out. If you had a nine-incher before and you decide to only invest in a five-incher now, she might be disappointed. It's important that she plays a role in helping you make a decision." The man agrees to talk it over with his wife. The doctor comes back the next day, "So, have you spoken with your wife?" "Yes, I have," says the man. "And has she helped you make a decision?" "Yes" says the man. "What is your decision?" asks the doctor. "We're getting granite counter tops."

Hull And Outboard Cleaning
BBS=Bass Boat Saver I have a 3M paste marine wax that I used once at the beginning of the year, and then follow up after each time I go out with 50/50 water and vinegar, and then the Mothers every other time out. I've used Meguires boat and RV spray wax and like the Mothers better, Never used NuFinish. I'd hit it with the paste at least once at the beginning of the season since it's only 7-8 months long anyway. Someone makes a wax especially for the motor cowl but I've been using the Mothers on that as well

Hull And Outboard Cleaning
I put it full strength on a wet sponge, apply, and rinse it before it dries. Best to do it when it's cool and cloudy. It will take off the water marks, the scum lines and the chalkiness. Then dry it and hit it with a spray wax like Mothers Marine spray wax or BBS.

Crappie is pronounced croppie, not crappy. We don't have brim or bream or shellcrackers, they are bluegills and sunfish. crawfish is pronounced crayfish, We also don't have bugs or snakes that will kill you where you lie, we have people for that. Depending on your travels, pop, soda, and coke all mean the same thing except when you stop at Taco Bell or Culvers and they ask "Are Pepsi products ok?" Pizza is also known as pie. Spaghetti sauce is called gravy. If you make it to any of the major cities and eat the food, you may never find your way back home.

Boat Modification - Rod Locker Extension?
No, I don't. I've seen a number of deck modifications without adverse effects. The top cap is a separate piece than the hull and the part you want to cut is part of the top cap. I would leave a slight lip, maybe an inch or so around the top and sides as support for the console that's still attached http://www.plexusplasticcleaner.com/about.html

Boat Modification - Rod Locker Extension?
I would advise installing another "wall" of sorts further back to prevent the co angler from kicking the rods.

Boat Modification - Rod Locker Extension?
Riddle me this. How would you be putting in and taking out the rods with the console still in place? Is removing the console and extending the deck an option, or does the wife or regular partner tag along alot? Removing the console frees up a ton of space. A buddy of mine did that on his Stratos and it turned out pretty nice.

New Outboard- Wwyd
I would base my decision first on need then on money. You've already decided you need more. So how much are you comfortably willing to spend for what you want? I'd imagine a new 115 is going to run over $12k. You didn't mention the age of your boat, but adding a 12k motor to your boat will increase its desirability but not increase it's value by 12k, so unless you get a heck of a deal on a motor, flipping it is probably out of the question. I'm on my 3rd boat. I've grown out of each boat as I have grown as a fisherman. Something to think about

Does Catching One Bass In A School Tend To Scare The Others Off?
I am under the mindset that catching one may excite the school into feeding, and multiple would need to be caught to scare off the school.
