  1. From the North side now in the burbs. I like Giordanos stuffed pizza, but had it once in Orlando and it was horrible. Must be the ingredients. Uno's is good on Rush and Ontario but I don't care for their other locations. Might also be the ambiance. My brother is a Lou's fan. I never cared for it. Nancys is good but too expensive. If you wanna go thin crust Riggios on Oakton and Milwaukee is the shiznit.
  2. Thank you NateFollmer that is exactly what I meant. Flechero, When all is said and done she's not my daughter. My son comes first. Does that make me an a hole? Then I guess I am. As far as your comment about getting her a pimp so I won't be burdend financially. No one is throwing her to the dogs. If I had the cash I'd much rather give her the loan and have her pay me back rather than affecting my credit rating. There are things I want to do in my near future in which I'll need the credit. My initial post was asking about the effects to my credit rating, not which kid I loved more..
  3. Here in Chicago they recently had a "summit" with the gang leaders and the police to try and curb the violent crime. It was covered by the press. I saw the MS13 on TV and not sure if they're in Chi-Town but we have enough Gangster Disciples and Latin Kings. If you guys want some of them maybe arrangements can be made ;D.
  4. I have a life insurance policy on my son to cover the cost of his 4 year education which, looks like it's going to be more than 4 years, God forbid something happens. My stepdaughter does work but the issue with her is she already has 40k in subsidized, unsubsized, private loans but she can't qualify for more. I'm all for education but this s#!+'s expensive. . I'm worried I will overextend my "signature" and have problems in the future. I may sound selfish but my son is MY son. My stepdaughter, who I've known since she was 6, is not. I love her like she's mine but I don't want to jeaprodize my sons education by overextending my credit for her.
  5. Here's my dilemma. I have already cosigned college loans for my son. My stepdaughter, who I love dearly, needs a cosigner. Anyone know what type of detrimental effect cosigning has on my credit rating. My biggest concern is if I cosign for my stepdaughter, next year when my son may need me to cosign again could I/he be turned down because of excessive obligations? My credit rating is good if that matters. Thanks
  6. X2 plus maybe you're not running long enough to charge the battery.

  10. How about some pics? HTS 2000 is a good aluminum "weld" that is relatively easy to use.
  11. BLAH,BLAH,BLAH. I use Cajun Red mono cause I likes it.
  12. By the time you're a senior you should know how to spell "fishing" LOL. Otherwise nice pics.

  16. Have you tried frogs? Might be your best bet. You're definatly going to have to use a heavy braid to bring a fish thru the slop. Are you sure the larger fish you see jumping are bass and not carp? Other option, if it's really that thick and tough to fish, and you're limited to shore fishing, you may want to fish elsewhere until the vegetation begins to die off.
  17. Just suck all the joy out of junebugmans post. Very good advice fishfordollars.
  18. In my experience Spiderwire seems to cut into itself. Diawa Samuari is the way to go.
  19. Ever watch a kid rip mom or dad a new one in public when something doesn't go their way ? And they stand there and take it ? Makes me want to slap the parents and then the kid... God help my kids if they ever do that to me. I'll bring the right hand of God down on them for something like that. My sisters kids don't mess with me or my mother. I have never disciplined them more than sending them to their rooms. They know I do not give in. They don't waste their time arguing with me . They've tried in the past but realized it doesn't work. Parents have to make an impact on the kids when they're young.
  20. Define kids. I only say this because you're a kid. When I was a kid, pre 13 or 14, I was disciplined via the "belt". I was never beaten and was never hit without deserving it. I'd get disciplined twice. Once from my mother, for the crime, and then from my father for upsetting my mother. My grandmother used to say that my folks never beat us enough ;D. Fast forward to when my son was 3 or 4(he's now 20) I still remember pushing him in the grocery cart at the store. He was getting out of line and I remember him yelling "Don't crack me dad, don't crack me" I never beat him and he was never disiplined without deserving it. My sisters kids (8 and 10) get away with murder. She gives them time outs, but the kids have learned if they keep bothering mommy or daddy they'll let them go free because they don't want to listen to it. IMO it's not how you discipline, it's that you discipline AND, most importantly, you are consistant. It's like training a dog. If you are consistant the training should work. Lastly, respect for your elders and anyone in general is taught at home. If 2 moron people make a kid, money says the kids going to be a moron too.
  21. The bass are where the food is at.
  22. and it could be worse, you could have everyone telling you that your 'sucky' team is superbowl bound........ like my cowboys...... :-/ I think that's the worst part.............and nobody every knocks on wood on these pre-game shows either so it may be a 1989 all over again. b Hope for the best and prepare for the worst.
