2018 GEICO BASSMASTER CLASSIC
Hank Cherry, a NC boy. Sam gave a great tutorial. I would add these. The Expo is huge and like Sam said it's like being a kid in a candy store. But, it makes for a long day if you get there at 9, catch the bus to the weigh-in around 2(?) ... You will more than likely get back to your room around 8 pm. Dress comfortably, take breaks, sit from time to time, and be prepared to be in a crowd. Since this topic is already here, sound off if you're going. I'll be there Saturday and Sunday.

Can you swim
I didn't think much about wearing a pfd for a good number of years but the last five years I have read enough tragic or near tragic stories to change that mindset. There are also a good number of the members here that have given very sound advice with regards to safety and pfd's in general and I now wear a pfd all the time. I can swim and feel fairly confident in my ability to swim my way out of trouble. BUT... I know Durn well I'll be wearing a pfd while doing that.

Afraid to use....
I have a few but an old Rabble Rouser Baby Ashley has been retired since 1995. It caught 7 bass the first day I tied it on in 1980 and countless fish until it was put up for good. I have several hundred Rebels that will never see the water also.
