  6. Florida gator record is 17'5. the record is fairly new, by the way I can tell you for a fact there are gators in the St. Johns and several other areas have gators pushing if not exciding this size.
  7. the water is very high. even on low tide it is fuller than normal.start with skinny dippers and devils horse on the well known eel grass beds near points. then when it gets hot move to the metal bulkheads near docks. use sencos(get it right to the bulkhead, move it a couple feet then swim it back, we caught several swiming senco's back) and top water. watch for storms we got caught today, they are poping up fast. you will catch a good varity, we fished from sunup till 1 and had 10-12 bass the best 5 going 12 pounds, i also lost one about 4, and missed several fish. also had 2 mud, 1 gar, and lost a slot red. best of luck it was fun today hope you have the same luck. PS- white and silver top water, junebug, redbug and watermelon worms.
  8. ill give u a report on the area north of palatka, im going tomorrow. rodman is totally topped out and it nearly impossible to fish.
  9. St.Johns and rodman, which of course runs in to stick marsh. has as many 5- 11 pound fish pulled out every year as any place in the country. Also has the largest bass tourny east of the Mississippi, and the Bass capital of the world in palatka.

  11. nothing special, they are aggresive, and will hide in bottles, jars and what not. they can accually get stuck in jars, cause they get too fat to get out. I caught one stuck in a jar and had to break the jar to get it out.
