  1. TW has free shipping on anything over 50.00...all the time.. I would also look at the Shimano Clarus. For 80.00 and a lifetime warranty, and it's a great rod for the $$, I have 3 of them..they are tough to beat.
  2. O.K..thanks...Mine were in some light weeds..on 10lb yozuri.
  3. X2 IDK if I would take the dull Chatterbait hook or the Pure Poison clips bending out or snapping on hooksets and swings.... Remember that pic I sent you Burley? It happened on two others... Tin, how big were the fish, that the clip broke, or bended..? I know a couple of the 5lb'r's I caught didn't bend mine..
  4. 9" Lunker Punker's... Although, I've never tried it in waves higher than 1 1/2' high..
  5. Zip loc bags, placed in my 3700 storage boxes..
  6. Any rod from Shimano from the Clarus on up the line will and can handle braid just fine..
  7. Not to be rude, but there are a TON of threads re: which reel is best, your fave ...ect, ect..What is the point of starting another one..? SHIMANO. 8-)
  8. And...More 3:16 baits...This fun, but Expensive..LOL ;D
  9. Just get the thing Super Tuned... ;D
  10. Swimbaits in shad, trout, baby bass...and a spinnerbait every now and then.. ;D
  11. Curado 301E7 reel, a Dobyn's 807Mag swimbait rod, a Okuma Concept C3 7'mh spinning rod, 7'6" mh Clarus spinning rod, for shore fishing, a Stradic 2500 reel, and a couple of 3:16 baits.
  12. Old Spice original scent..I get the large one, lasts me at least 2 months.. 8-)
  13. This has been without a doubt, the strangest year for fishing. It's been much tougher to get solid fish this year at many lakes, compared to years past. To answer your question, I go with bottom baits, and work em very slow, I get lucky every now and then.. ;D
  14. Nothing like going Overboard when buying baits.. ;D
  15. I looked at a few of the rods you mentioned. I wound up getting the Clarus, due to the warranty. Have to say, IF the dark angel had the same warranty, I likely would have bought it, although I've never handled one.
  16. My Pure Poison chatterbaits have sharp hooks. Never used a trailer hook..Have a few that are about a yr. old, have caught a number of bass on them, and have never sharpened the hooks.
  17. Yup, you walked right by me. I believe you said hi. I thought, jeez, what a pain to have to carry those blades..lol Dan has many, many, many high dollar rigs. Shorter guy with a gray gotee.. Not a worm..was a paddletail swimbait.
  18. And, the smaller bass.. ;D
  19. Might have been Dan that caught the 6-7lb'r. ranger lake, first cast, got a 5.5 lb'r..an hour or so later, switched to a spinnerbait and got a smaller bass. I always start my day in front of the old ranger station. I was there with a couple other guys..early. I was the old guy with the maroon sweatshirt, and green shorts. Here's the bass.
  20. I think you may need my 807 mag..LOL Congratz..kids are cool, Until they get to be teenagers..Lucky for me, mine is 34.. ;D
  21. Was gonna go today, but woke up to late.. ;D I'll try for tomorrow morning..starting in front of the old ranger station.
  22. X 2.. Buying a Shimano doesn't guarantee you'll get a quality reel. Out of over 4 dozen reels I've purchased in the past few years, the ONLY one that was defective right out of the box was a Citica 200e. And that can happen to anyone, with re: to any brand of reel. None are perfect..
