  1. I bought the Golden shiner. Haven't thrown it that much..so far nada. Any of you guys have this bait, and has it worked for you..? Here's a link to the bait. http://www.***.com/descpageKORB-KLTGS.html
  2. And NEVER dip them in JJ's Magic... ;D
  3. If your going to try the YoZuri..get the Ultrasoft..works great on spinneing, and baitcasting reels..6-8 lb works swell on a size 2500 reel.
  4. Yup, rocks are not good for braid..I'll keep my 12lb yozuri for that..
  5. I even use a 5/0 sometimes, it all depends on how Thick the worm is..lenght has nada to do with it.
  6. I have a backpack that was meant for surfers, i.e. to carry a full wetsuit..ect..has a ton of room. more so than the ones made for fishing. The downside is...that sucker gets Heavy walking a long shoreline..lol I usually carry 3 to 4 rods with me.
  7. Generator....that'll get your electricity back..
  8. I have the dirty shad 4"'r...never caught a fish on it..maybe cuz we don't have dirty shad, only silver ones.. ;D
  9. I have lures heavier than that. I was talkin bout how accurate he is. At least it looked that way to these OLD eyes..lol You could cast like that too if you had a 1-1/4 oz+ lure on.
  10. Rod....6'6" Teamdiawa mf Spinning Reel...2500 Shimano Sharah Line..Trilene 100% Fluro. I'm trying this line out. Normally I use YoZuri Hybrid Ultrasoft. Techniques....Finesse fishing, mainly worms, i.e. t rig, and dropshot. One day I got bold and threw a scrounger head..lol I only fish for Bass.
  11. Welp, yesterday, I lost 2 of my swimbaits.. :'( Mattlures 6" trout, and my 6" Huddelston. So today I went to semi local tackle shop, that usually has good prices to replace my baits, unfortunatly they were out. So, bing that I wanted to fish today and tomorrow, I bought the BBZ 6" hard trout slow sink. Tied on a new leader on my swimbait rig, and headed to the lake. Tossed it out there a good ways, water is pretty stained after the rains, so it was hard to track it, once it got into view, I was surprised to see how good the action was for the money, I wouldn't say it swam as well as Matt's hardgill, but the the BBZ is less than 1/2 the cost. If your looking for an enxspensive 6" hard swimbait, that's under 25.00...check it out. Anyone else have the 6" BBZ..?
  12. One thing ya gotta give Larry is...the dude can cast..
  13. I rarley get more than a couple hrs of sleep before an outing. It's like being a kid on Christmas eve.. ;D
  14. Need more hard swimbaits...$$$$$$$, and will keep chuckin em. Also I'm gonna work with the ragetail Eliminator.
  15. My arm is a certified scale... Never weigh em..doesn't matter that much to me, unless I get 15lb + fish
  16. I watched bout 5 shows...see where he got hooked with that big ole lure..ouch!!! Thought the show in India was kinda boring...but the rest were pretty neat.
  17. Last pic is a 49..? maybe 29..? Nice cars...and that's coming from a life long Chevy man..
  18. I'll stick with state farm..have good rates, and after totally 1 car, and 2 motorcycles..I still get a low rate, plus...good service. As for Progressive...someone has to pay for all that TV advertising..
  19. For spinning, go with 6 or 8 in the yozuri hybrid ultrasoft. I like the 6lb for most apps.
  20. Like I said, no need to change line, but if you must, attach a fluro leader to your braid. I appologize to the OP, didn't mean to start a debate.
  21. Gamie makes scroungers too..still, not quite as good as the orignals..
  22. I have a 7'6" Clarus..good rod for the $$$. For 40 bucks..the 6'6" is a good deal imho.
  23. Unless you have heavy cover ect..I'd go with the 10lb..cast's a little further.
  24. Glad you got it figured out...
