  1. Dude, why would you need a highspeed reel for worms..? IMHO, you don't. Stick with the 6:2. Certain apps a 7:1 would be good, worming isn't one of them.
  2. Ultrasoft is very managable on both spinning and baitcasters. 10 or 12 lb on baitcasters, 6 or 8 on spinning, depending on type of structure, i.e. rocks, or timber, ect.
  3. I use 6lb for worms on my spinning rid, and 10 or 12 on my baicaster for jigs and weighted worms.. I have even caught 5lb bass on 4lb.. Oh..line is YoZuri Hybrid Ultrasoft.
  4. Big Jim, and the Twins.. ;D
  5. Hotdang...I must be doin something right..as do about the same, except for the 1/4oz .
  6. Haha, I've tossed my bubblegum senco's and never caught a fish on them. Thedy hit all of my other colors though..
  7. The 200 holds about 70 yds more for 10lb test. Here's a link to some cardiff info. http://www.***.com/descpageRLCSHIMANO-SCCRA.html
  8. Recycleing line:..if your city has recycleing bins..stuff your used line into a milk carton/bottle or something. If you don't have line for backing, but the cheapest stuff you can get. Personally, I like to keep the 2 lines as close as possible, i.e. 10lb backing, 8 to 12 lb top shot.
  9. X 2...except on my swimbait rig I use 8 turns on the braid side.
  10. Hybrid, or the hybrid ultrasoft..?

  14. Goverments of places like that need to step up..How long do you throw $$$ at these places..? And Who tracks all the $$$$ that goes there..? Not trying to be a jerk..just asking questions.
  15. Depends on how much you fish..I treated 2 reels, 1 2500 spinning, and a low pro baitcaster, plus I sprayed it on the rod guides..I fished at least 3 times a week, and 1 bottle lasted about 6mos. Although I didn't use it every trip. When I used KVD conditioner..I just sprayed the spool's the night before, I soaked em pretty good, doin so, the conditioner will seep down to line you won't even use...KISS..works..
  16. Mine pop up Fast..It should show new message as soon as someone sends a pm to you..
  17. I have been going to other sites for the last 2 hrs..all load fine..except BR.. And it's till hit or miss re: loading time..I'm sure Glenn will get it figured out, if it's on the back end..
  18. Kinda gettin OT with the subject of braking..but I'll add this...I have a 2 yr pld BPS Extrem, I find that the magnetic brakes Need to be set according to lure weight, and the spool tension adjusted accordinly. The brakes have to be set at 8..anything less and I get overruns. OTH..I have a Chronacrh with centrical brakes which I like a lot better. I started with 2 brakes out of 6 on, after about 2 weeks, I disengaged all the brakes, so now I have none..I use 55# braid on this reel, and have very few overruns. Maybe 1 every 10 outings. Obviously the Chronarch is a higher quality reel, but the braking imho make a big difference in that you have way more control over the braking. In the end, your Thumb is the main control..
  19. Hmmmm, 1000's of people use braid w/o guide problems...usually it's cheap guides that happens.
