  1. I don't believe it...my wally world actually has something most of your's doesn't..LOL Colors are VERY limited, I think they carry 2 colors.....maybe I should stock up..? :-/
  2. Well, if you had permission, it doesn't count, note that I said "Sneak" on to a course..that being said, do any of you guys do the Ninja thing to get bass..? In other words, are you willing to trespass to get fish.
  3. Not really..that's why I said, and what happens when you get caught. We are on the same page my friend.
  4. Just wondering if any of you guys/gals Sneak onto golfcourses to catch Bass..? Personally I don't, it's like shooting ducks in a barrel imho, and could not see any satisifaction in it. Some people I know do, cuz they can catch lots of fish in a short period of time, this is happening in los angeles, and orange county in so. cali where as you may know the pressure is crazy, and folks are just not up to the challenge I guess. And what happens when you get caught..? Your thoughts..?
  5. I can olny comment on the Spro BBZ...I have no problems casting mine, eith on my spinning, or bc rig..spinning has 8 lb , bc has 12 lb both yozuri hybrid ultrasoft.
  6. I wouldn't want to open a jar of JJ's in the house..PeeeU..lol Dip my baits and ziplock bag em..in the garage, with the Door Open..
  7. Have you looked at any of this sites sponsers for better prices..?
  8. Just thought about what Chris said..I guess if your lucky to be able to fish alot, and catch a fair amount of fish most of the time, in the 1-4 lb range, then I could see why someone would pick catching a Big bass over catching several smaller ones. Unfortunatly, I don't get to fish all the time at a good lake, that's why I chose quanity....
  9. Wow...great fish!! Thanks for the pic's Big O, and thanks to Clay and all the service members for all they do.
  10. Those look like some healthy fish...good work..
  11. O.K...so I went to the local pond, and tossed the RT toad, got it figured out, it ran true and with really good action. Unfortunatly the fish weren't interested in Anything we tossed at em..
  12. Good thread.! I'd like to know the following.. How you determin a rod's sensitivity at a store. How you can really see the "true" action in the store I usually take my reel/reels and mount em up to a given rod, but still I can't tell about how sensitive they are. So I buy according to spec's...and how they feel in my hands. Am I just dumb, or what..? I should note: I'm talking about rods under $150.00
  13. I toss mine weightless..re: my wierd action..I take it that it's not the "knot" but the knot head gettin the hook crooked.. lol
  14. Dink...you need to Smile more often... ;D
  15. When I first used the toad, I t rigged with a superline 0/5 offset gammy..I tie 99.9% of my baits with a palomare knot. Sometimes the toad would seem like it was swiming on it's side just a bit, is that from not having the hook totally straight, or the knot..? I don't feel I'm getting the action from my toads like the pros do..? :-[ Sorry A-A..don't mean to highjack your thread..
  16. I like to catch fish..and while catching a 12# bass would be great, going 7 hrs. without catching anything would be a drag..So I'm gonna say #1..I'll take 1-4 lbr's all day..
  17. Well, maybe Smart was a bad choice of words..I think "conditioned" to most lure would be a better discription.
  18. Ditto what Roger said...I'll take 3 lbr's all day...keep at it.
  19. You had a Great day..that last pic of the BIG un on the spinner bait made your day......I bet..lol great report and pic's.
  20. i think you need to do what works for you..personally, I like the 7 footers, my spinning rods are 6'6" 7' and 7'6"..and I'm lookin for a 8 footer. BC rods are 2 at 7' 1 at 6'6". the 6'6" was a present from my Son..so I'll keep that one..
  21. If this is a cement pond..like our city park ponds, with the bublers/foutians..we are in the same boat so to speak. The only structure is maybe some big ole rocks, and weeds..there are many spots on the pond you can't reach due the size of the pond. Also the water is very shallow, i.e. the very deepest is 5-8' in the middle (out of reach) I have seen 6 to 8 lbr's in one of them. These ponds are Heavily pressured, so the big girls are smart. I try to throw anything they others aren't, but I too can't seem to hook the big un's..btw, we are way past the spawn. My guess is the girls are resting..you can get the 2-5 lb fish sometimes if you know what to do, fishing in these places is really tough. Just keep trying, I stick mostly with soft plastic's, but I've thrown everything I own, and then some..lol I'll get me a taod, just a matter of time..
  22. I've fished em every which way..all I have is the babybass, still haven't got a bite on em.. :-[
  23. I got the 10" anaconda in bama craw, and greenpumkin..got my toads in green0umkin with chartruse ..haven't really put em to the test yet..anyways, I think you chose good colors..cept, how come you didn't get the 10" anaconda in bama craw..?

For me, there is no regular, weight depends on conditions..i.e..shallow and calm, 1/8 oz..wind and deep, I'll toss a 1/2 oz..If I have a 10" ragetail anaconda, I'll use a lighter weight. If I'm fishing from shore, and need to cast further to get to a spot that I think will produce, I'll use a heavier bullet..But, I try to use the lightest weight I can.
  25. Absolutly...
