I've had one XR6(my last Nitro) and it will also be my last! There were times it just wouldn't start no matter what. Pretty embarrassing at the ramp when there's a line waiting to put in! It finally exploded on me one day 2 miles from the ramp. EFI only for me now. Never had a single issue with the 5 other EFIs I've owned before. If you really want it, spend a little $$ and get it checked top to bottom.

Okeechobee or Istokpoga might be some good alternatives.

Actually, Francho did offer useful input by recommending you use your warranty. I had MANY issues with the casting Revo lineup myself. Including the MGX and the STX. Never made it to try the spinning lineup as I stopped using them due to poor CS.

Really? Wow, on the lakes I fish air boaters are the worse ever! They will come almost run you over while you're flipping a spot.

Born in the city and lived there most of my life. My parents were not big on nature at all. I hated it and always dreamed of living in the boonies. They actually tried to encourage me away from the outdoors. Once I got my first boat I always had to drive at least an hr each way to any decent lake. So after finishing school and establishing myself financially, I chose to build my house in the backwoods of beautiful Lake Placid Florida. I'm never more then 10 min away from my favorite holes. On any given day you can see a black bear, panther or coyote in the back yard. Seeing my kids spend their afternoons on the ATVs instead of inside on the computer makes me very happy.

Zeko, Everlast and some under armour running shoes for me. Fished 12+ hrs in them no problem. Feels like they're not even there.

Catt is absolutely right. I've experienced it just in the last couple months. I've had my son catch them behind me on a T-rig when I was pitching a jig and vice versa. Also, weight absolutely matters. He's caught them behind me in exact spots using a 1oz jig while I had a 1/2oz. Same exact color jig and trailer. Sometimes they just want the bulk of a jig and sometimes they want a tiny BB cricket on a massive tungsten weight. I always have a couple jigs, T-rigs and punch rigs in different sizes and colors for that reason. Fun part is figuring it out before time's up.

Not really sure to be honest. Looked all fancy with the Jersey and big boat, the whole 9. Don't think it was a big time pro though. Probably a local is my guess.

I'll go somewhere else for the day/days. I don't like to put up with the crowds or the dirt bag wannabe pros. I was flipping on Okeechobee one day while a big tourney was going on(I didn't know). This big wrapped boat comes in right in front of us maybe 50ft and starts flipping right on top of us. I was ticked and told my buddy i wish we could pop one right in front of them. A couple minutes in to it I nail one over 6.5lbs. They actually rushed over and asked if we were in the tournament first then asked how much for the fish. I was disgusted and released it right in their faces. After that i avoid them when I can.

Glad I'm not the only one. I can't sleep before a trip, tourney or not. I lay there and practice every pitch and every cast in my head. If I try, I can almost smell that 2 stroke idling at the ramp.

Dang it, why not FL ?. I'm sure they will do great wherever they go.
