smart fish
Try new things(baits/techniques) out if there is high fishing pressure there! Finesse tactics can be a good choice. Try fishing areas you haven't tried yet. Also, live bait is a great alternative man! It can tell you where they are than you can have more confidence in certain areas!

Boy I did a dumb thing...
Seriously. Can't imagine a world without DD or Debit Cards. I'm pretty much cashless at this point. Of course having a wife and two teenagers keeps me cashless anyhow. VERY TRUE!! I learned after forgetting my wallet at Olive Garden with over $1000 in it! I was headed to BPS to do some shopping. A very honest waitress(one who served me) had saved it for me with not even a single dollar missing! She could have just kept it because i ate outside that day and i was alone but she didn't! She got a very generous tip that night!

Needed a strategy
A T-rigged worm or a spinnerbait would have been great!

BuzzBaits
Make sure you have one that makes a lot of noise and moves a lot of water! Throw them in and around any cover you can find. And like stated above, make repeated casts to the same general area! I replaced all my buzzers with Rage Tail Shads and Toads
